Ba is so sick. A true class act in this seemingly superficial world of skateboarding and general life. He seems to be a genuine character and that is awesome. Very refreshing!

Wow, such a great interview as always but this one hit different for me because he was one of my original influences when he still skated for Girl back when I was in High School.

P.S. He's so right about the clean socks! From what I've heard at the local shelter I've donated at previously is that their most requested item especially in the colder months is a pair of clean socks.

Yall think racking from the home depot on 980 3rd ave is safe while im out here in ny? The spots in like china town(?) when you exit from the train on columbus and go towards whatever bridge is overwhelming coming from a city that started as a farm town, butttt i wanna leave at least a clean straight letter behind if this is out of pocket to ask then plz ignore, but regardless of that this podcast has changed how i view life, and experiencing the true culture shock of being here and getting a little taste of exploring has affected me to where i don't think i can view the world the same more in a positive than negative sense. Love what yall do and keep doin it much love from a small-city west coast kid

After he came out of the closet half my friends turned into raving lunatics. They thought it was so cool and started worshiping homosexuality, then they started genuflecting and apologizing for being white, then they started trying to shame anyone who didn’t “check their privilege” at this point statistics, evidence, lived experience stopped having any bearing on what they considered true or false. The way they started talking about minorities was on par with actual racists but they deemed it ok because “their intention where good”. In reality they had become bigoted, judgmental, assholes who wanted to have moral superiority over everyone around them. Some of the other guys had the self awareness to see what was happening to them but where too afraid to push back out of fear of being ostracized. They are all pathetic cowards and I’m glad I quit the team.
