How much of a step can the CJ Stroud - Nico Collins - Tank Dell trio take in their second year together? Then, we look at the Jacksonville Jaguars coming off a disappointing end to the 2023 season and losing star receiver Calvin Ridley to the Titans this offseason.

Dude doesn’t follow the Jaguars, obviously. Trevor threw 4 TD passes to dig them out of the hole he dug to win that Charger game….and then stayed in it vs KC the next week. A fumbled pass at like the 5 was a big reason why they lost to KC. He was injured more than once. Shoulder, high ankle, concussion, yada yada. His play was recognizably worse after those injuries. Especially the shoulder. Beat up, poor O-line play….The list goes on. Im not saying he’s a world beater, but last season was not indicative of Trevor. If he plays bad this season, only then will I start thinking bust.

Umm the Jags came back from being down 27-0 to beat the Chargers. NOT a monumental collapse.

Christain kirk was hurt and zay jones played on one leg most of the year as well. Ridley dropped so many passes that would have been clutch too. And no shit if they play better they will win, that's with anything.

Jags running game was so dysfunctional and injuries played a big factor through the year, and particularly Trevor after the Monday Night injury / overtime loss. Fortner is not good enough at center whatsoever and they got Mitch Morse to help the line. If/when they improve the running game, interior blocking along with being healthier, and year 3 in this offensive scheme, Jags will win more. Won't be easy to go 10+ wins obviously, they need to treat all 17 regular season games like playoff games. In my opinion they made very solid FA additions that should help, along with hopefully a strong draft.

I couldn't agree more about the Texans' draft. I hope Nick Casario stays in the 2nd round, doesn't trade up, and grabs a Corner, OL, or WR - there are plenty of great players that will be available in at least two out of three of those positions. Nick's had great success with his 2nd round picks in the past, and he and DeMeco seem to be lock-step in what they want. Thanks Brian!

As a Jags fan...we were very "Eagles like" last year...when we were 8-3...we were still not playing that well...something was off. Oline Horrible and Trevor playing very mediocre. Then we fell apart. We had at least 3 games where the effort levels were PATHETIC...and the way we played in that Tenn game with playoffs on the line was DISGRACEFUL. Jags looked like they did NOT want to win and go to playoffs. Unbelievable.

Respectfully, it's time to get over it. Personally was distraught for a few weeks for sure but Jags themselves and their fans can't wallow in the past. It's time to win more next year, fuck the opposition.

@@leevancleef358 83 days ago and counting, they are fully aware of what happened and have made some moves. Schematically they got Nielsen and Doug knows the offense has to change, though multiple players royally fucked up at bad times. The margin of error between wins and losses is razor thin. Chiefs survive the playoffs last year playing teams that had awful mistakes and everyone acts like they were just unbeatable. Jags had an uniquely horrific collapse that has to motivate the returning staff, for this year at least. Neutral, optimistic or pessimistic fans have the right to say whatever they want, teams have to survive the regular season and get hot late in the year. Plenty of fans don't understand how vital having the right mentality is, they just want to call out scheme or talent deficiency when any one play or mistake can change the outcome.

@@DTWD420 With Jags it was more than that at times...it was a lack of "want to" when it came to tackling..and was a story today that there was tension between Foye and some other guys on D due to practice habits and preparation. Yes NFL games can come down to a play or a possession..but Jags lack of desire at times was a HUGE Red Flag. We lost to Tenn in last game due to Tackle Avoidance and Lack of Intensity more than anything else..that was the bigger problem with this team. ZERO excuse for that.

Prep your information before you post videos about specific teams. I can tell he isn't a fan of the Jags since he was not prepared... wrong final of the playoff WIN against the chargers, can't get our best CBs name right, and doesn't even mention adding Armstead from the 49ners which was a huge FA signing.

Jags were 8-3 before Lawrence and the O line got plagued by the injury bug. Most losses were close outside of 49ers so I mean I have no doubt Jags will be better after juicing up the trenches. False news

Trevor has played 3 full seasons now and other than the 2nd half stretch of 2022 and playoff run when he was very good...he has mostly been MEDIOCRE...and even worse...a Turnover Machine. He can't carry a team and in my opinion he plays at a range of "average to sometimes pretty good"...but this past season he was very disappointing. If he does not turn the corner in year 4...then I think he is what he is...about a 15th ranked qb. NOT good enough from #1 overall.

Yeah right, Tom Brady is the best thing that ever happened to Bill Belichek not for nothing but I was a fan of Tom Brady when he was at Michigan I thought he was exceptional then... Just saying... but back to Bill B and Tom Brady, Bill couldn't see he was better than Drew Bledsoe it took Bledsoe getting hurt for Belichek to realize this but yet he's the greatest head coach ever doesn't recognize greatness when he see's it
