He made so many incredible plays for the Lions in his rookie season but 7:54 is so impressive. He times it so perfectly without looking back. Lions 2023 draft will go down in history as one of the best in the league. The fab four: Gibbs, Campbell, Laporta and Branch all taken in succesion were huge contributors.

the crazy part is with way more consistent pressure from the line, and more consistent coverage by his secondary teammates, Qb's are going to have to take more gambles and he always seems to be in position. The thing that amazed me with this highlight is how many clean pocket throws he was able to break up. More opportunities to make those game changing turnover plays, or else the QB just takes the sack.

Compare sauce Gardners 2022/23 Defensive Rookie of the Year performance stats to Brian Branch in 2023/24. Branch's numbers are better across the board. Yet Branch wasn't even in the top 5 nominees this year. What a joke. BRANCH IS A STAR. How many rookies have a 10 minute highlight video?

He's gonna take an even bigger step forward second season.. This is why I would get aggressive if I was Brad and as long as Marvin Harrison isn't taken with the first overall pick then I would give up multiple first round picks this year (the 29th pick value is at 640 points) with others to get to the value of the 3rd overall pick which is 2,200 value to draft the only thing that OC Ben Johnson is missing which is a 6"4 Marvin Harrison speed demon that wins 50/50 jump balls 9 of out 10 times.. Ben Johnson came back to win the SuperBowl, so why not reward him with his missing piece to push this offense past the Rams greatest show on turf 1999 SuperBowl team.. it's likely we can get a player like a DE Khalil Mack or Danielle Hunter or DT Chris Jones, Christian Wilkins and draft a CB like Mike Sainristil to take over at Nickle for we can move Branch to Safety to replace Gardner-Johnson.. This is all a fairy tale comment, but if it did happen, there's no way this Lions offense could be slowed down.. Let a lone contain them.. WR St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr., and TE Sam LaPorta, and the 2 headed monsters at RB's Gibbs, and Montgomery.. .
