Years ago, I thought the Lions had the best uniforms (with due respect to the 1A Raiders unis). Now, with the proliferation of multiple jerseys and alternate pants and different colored helmets, I’ve had to reframe it all in my mind. The Detroit Lions just simply have the best color scheme in professional sports. Everything they’ve worn the past few seasons has been awesome! Honolulu blue may be the single best color ever developed for anything.

NFL is more fun to watch now than when I was a kid in the 80s. Most of the rule changes have been for the better, but there's also a greater willingness to go for it on 4th down and to get creative with non-standard plays. The conservatism of the sport 40 years ago always used to frustrate me.
