@@Bujinkanguy9 Our original family name was " Artero " in the year 1212 a Basque knight names Sancho " por Lobos " Artero lead an ambush against King Charlemagne of the Franks rear guard and was given the title " de Muzquiz " (Muzquiz being an arab word for palm tree plural) after an area in Basque Spain. He was the first one our patriarch.

@@Bujinkanguy9 We are all from the same family including the different variations of spelling Musquiz, Musquez, Muzquez, Muzkiz, Muskiz, etc etc our family is one of the oldest familys from Europe. We were one of the first to settle in the western hemisphere. Capitan Manuel Muzquiz Spanish Royal Cavalry 1528( he recon the area that is now Texas Coullila )
