My late husband, a VERY sensible, earthy person, stayed at his first in-law’s one night and woke to see an old lady wearing black, sitting on the room’s chair, staring at him. The next morning he described it and his sister-in-law gasped and said she’d seen the same thing a few years earlier. His mother-in-law said it had been her mother’s chair, showed them her pic and they confirmed that’s who they’d seen. She tossed the chair out and I’ve always wondered if her mother ghost was in the landfill now or if some poor sod had it. And her. That was in the Scottish Borders so it could have been Brian’s chair.

My best ghost story was an encounter in a servicing garage @ 6.30 in the morning. Heavy snow had fallen overnight, so I got up early to go to work. I drove across a totally whte Hackny Downs where the only visible building in the distance was the old Matchbox factory. I arrived at work at the now gone Eastern Hospital in Hackney. I was a driver back then, delivering to all of the other hospitals in the area. I sat in the drivers room sipping on a cup of tea and reading a paper that was left there from the day before. I heard footsteps walking across the pit boards outside the room, quite loud and distinctive. I flicked on the kettle for who ever it was and continued reading. A few minutes ticked by, and I assumed it was the garage manager unlocking the caged areas full of expensive parts, hence the time ticking on. I flicked the kettle on again for whoever itwas, and after a few more minutes, I got up and went to peek outside the door. When I looked, there was nobody there what so ever. I love ghosts, man.

Do u know what the Bible says about ghosts, fallen angels, the spiritual realm? Dude … serious business. Fallen angels and demons can masquerade as ghosts. Demons and Evil Spirits in scripture: By Dr. Michael Heiser (Bible scholar - 1 hr. 22 min). kzbin.infomw3Tu3QjWuk?si=biYNmpE0FDDCFO1d. How can we protect ourselves and be safe? Simple answer: put your faith in Christ. Mark 5:6-7 Jesus and a possessed man. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!” They obviously know that Jesus is in charge.

I was sitting on my bedroom floor just tidying through my music tape collection when something prodded me two times in my upper right shoulder area and then straight after it shouted into my ear. Shush 🤫 shhhhhh. Like someone was right there but obviously ibwas the only living person in the house. Freaked me out. My blood ran cold and all the hairs on me stood on end. Then just like that i carried on with what i was doing. I wasn't even that scared. More excitement because i know there so much more to life than we know. I feel sorry for people who dont believe. Not superstitious at all...more worried about the living than the dead. But as a child to teens I had very clear and sometimes frightening dreams. Some of these I had at age 5-6 I can still remember like it was yesterday. But the one that best fits this category is a dream I had as a teen. I dreamed I was with my family in a touristy old west style area. I walked into an Indian jewelry shop and as I looked down saw rings with turquois stones on gold settings. I thought it odd because usually turquois is usually set in silver. Suddenly in the dream I was out in the open and over a loud speaker heard an announcement "the Indian dances will begin in 10 minutes." Just then I awoke and my alarm radio had gone off and on it was Indian chants for some Native American issues talk show. Odd but explainable. About a year later I was on vacation with my family in Taos NM (never been their before) and as I walked into a shop I had a very strong Deja vu feeling...I turned around and in a case were some turquois rings with gold settings. Never seen before or since. In later years I learned my ancestors were in Taos circa 1858 with uncles there as early as 1820s. Weird but whatever,

Ghosts? Dark spirits can masquerade as dead loved ones, dead soldiers, dead famous people, etc.. The Bible tells us that a spiritual realm surrounds us and that it is inhabited by angels and (unfortunately) fallen angels that were kicked out of Heaven (and also demons). These rebellious spirits want to lead us away from the truth of God, scripture & the gospel of salvation thru the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. If they can get us to REJECT the gospel, they know that when we die, we will spend eternity with them, instead of with God & the Heavenly host. Misery loves company. They are very tricky and deceptive and understand human desires and weaknesses very well. They are experts at wrapping truth around lies. They are powerful spiritual beings and can even impart “hidden” knowledge to us and predict future events. The Bible says not to mess around with the spiritual realm. The more we open that door, the more we invite these dark forces into our life and the farther down the dark path we travel. 1 Timothy 4:1 The [Holy] Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness.” Deuteronomy 18:10-12 “Let no one be found among you ….who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD…” Leviticus 19:31 “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”

On my own, I invited my other half to come and stay. One night I woke up to hear this rhythmic creaking across the room. Like someone walking across the floorboards. I thought my other half had gotten up to go to the toilet. Then I felt her roll over and ask wheat I'm doing out of bed. I told her I'm next to you. I had a pet cat and wondered if it had sneaked in it when I wasn't looking and it was panicking trapped. Though I could have swore it was downstairs when I went to bed. The banging was really loud so I switched on the bedroom light and sat on ghe edge of my bed until it subsided after about 20 seconds. I was scared and but I leaned over and pulled the door open very quickly expecting the cat to jump out, but there was nothing inside. As soon as I did this i heard a very loud noise above my head (like in the attic) that sounded just like scissors cutting paper. This lasted about 10 seconds. I was crapping myself. I got up and went down stairs putting all the lights on. I couldn't go back to bed. When daybreak came I went to work and was so freaked out about it I told my boss who was very understanding. He knew I wouldn't make this up. Just not my thing. He advised I check the attic for rodents when I got home. Which I did but there was nothing. It has never happened since but I know for sure that three previous owners of my property have died in the house. It's unsettled me just typjng this out.

@MistiMc76 Жыл бұрын
Her name is Ruth Wilson. She was in His Dark Materials as Mrs Coulter. The crime series might be Luthor with Idris Elba or The Affair on Showtime.
