Not every time one is held down and cannot talk, is it sleep paralysis. I'm a Medium, and I also help those with 'problems' in their homes with Spiritual beings. I've done this for The Church, in order to see if there are really spirits, or someone having emotional issues. I have literally, physically been attacked by 'shadow beings", I've been wide awake and getting ready to get out of bed, and suddenly I had my face pushed into a pillow, unable to move or speak, and it wasn't until I said, " in the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke you"....that it left. I have been attacked several times like that...and it is not sleep paralysis. Never just shrug off someone who says that they had something like this off. Never....because they truly need help, in stopping it. Yes ..there is sleep paralysis, but ask them what happened, and if anything else has happened in their home or anywhere else. Also .. spiritual activity is not more active at three in the morning, believe me.
