Deegan is the reason im paralyzed. I lived the metal mulisha life style to the fullest. Built jumps, riding and racing everyday. Pulled off 1 back flip, got cocky and under rotated, cased the jump back first. Paralyzed from T6-T7, basically nipplez down. Took 2 years but we built training wheels for 250, strapped my feet to it, installed an air shifter and went back out on the dirt. I wouldnt change a thing about my life. Ive lived more lives then most people and not done living yet. Deegan is a role model of mine from 1999, that first xgames changed my life, gave me a goal. Great interview Kenny

Biological father abandoned me… after 19+ yrs of counselors psychiatrist psychologist life coaches & the like… I finally have it in check. One sentence I say to self ‘Don’t allow the past to affect your future in any negative way’. (Yrs ago) My break thru - I realized I had to change because they (he) was not going to. Just me.😀

My story is similar to your's and as I got older it really affected me.. some people say " I don't see Why would it affect you" I don't know why either but it does..as a father myself I just don't understand how a man can just up and leave his kids.....my dad and I live close to one another but still really don't have much of a relationship ... I'm almost 60 now and he's 80 and i just can't get passed the fact he left Us and never looked back or never was part or even helped us in anyway. I hate myself for feeling hate for him but I just can't help it... He want even have any kind of a relationship with his grandkids or his Great grandkids......
@WheelerRickRambles11 ай бұрын
@@rickyestes7477 it is very similar. And, it’s interesting that proximity (close by) is not an instigator or a spark for him to want more. For what it’s worth, it is confirmation that its not you. And, you’re not alone ( me & many others ). Hang in there, new friend!👍🙏👍🙏

Not to devalue anything here. What’s missing as to being emphasized here, is the initiative and work, that lead to the experiences, that presented the opportunities, and more experiences, to learn from. This ain’t going to happen for a lazy, entitled, couch potato, relying on a games and apps, as a way of life. While he’s providing awesome opportunities and advantages for his children, I suspect he’s mentored the necessity of work and accountability. Addendum: I hadn’t watched this 100% through before making the comment. My bad. Guess that raises this to over the top, and one of your best.
