If there is another possibility of a spacecraft being launched during my lifetime to the moon, I would gracefully acknowledge if it contained a Golden Record (like the ones on both the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecrafts) that included this song and the others from Brian's "Apollo" album.

A bit disappointed at this For All Mankind album, though I do enjoy listening to it. It sounds like it's mostly old curiosities and unreleased tracks of Eno recycled and reworked, yet still sounding like curiosities only (i.e. not fully realized), compared to the masterpiece that is the Apollo album. I think the huge difference is down to the fact that the first album was made by the three brilliant artists (Lanois and two Enos) having fun in the same room, while this is apparently done over emails. And this new album has a "superb" digital software sound which always manages to sound less magical and timeless somehow.

It definitely does not have a sense of continuty and depth that the original album does, but this track alone is phenomenal.

@@platinumdynamite The whole album is indeed a lovely collection of software curiosities, crafted by Eno alone in his studio (while emailing with Lanois and his brother). While the first album saw them voyaging into space together and encountering a new frontier, this one sees Eno flying an unmanned probe from the comfort of his command centre, in full control of his field. :)

That is the problem with great albums , they set standard so high that anything following project or other part would habe difficulty matching up to it. This the main reason Burial is not releasing a second album after his magnum opus 'untrue'.
