Fell in love with Brian and TGA summer 2012 in a dive bar in Minneapolis. A few feet from the stage, these guys and Frank Turner made me fall in love with music all over again..and again..and again...

Most of this life's been a drag of a high And lows like a blow in a paid thrown title fight Most of my sins were born in a kiss on a night like this Calling all lonely hearts Don't you want a life like we saw on the picture show? So come on, give me something and come on, keep me up all night You say, my baby, all this time in between drives me crazy I want a life on fire, going mad with desire I don't wanna survive, I want a wonderful life I want a wonderful life Modern love seems that it goes from a dream To a crash and a roll, just shaking up everyone Maybe there's more than the treasures we secure That become heavy chains, to sink us in tidal waves And all I could do is take you from the circus show So come on, give me something and come on, keep me up all night You say, my baby, all this time in between drives me crazy I want a life on fire, going mad with desire I don't wanna survive, I want a wonderful life And all my nights they always end the same (with the blacktop, blacktop) Coming from behind It's just a age-old game from the living dead buzzing in my head They keep me up all night You say, my baby, all this time in between drives me crazy I want a life on fire, going mad with desire I don't wanna survive, I want a wonderful life (All my sins were born in a kiss on a night like this calling all lonely hearts) I want a wonderful life (All my sins were born in a kiss on a night like this calling all lonely hearts) I want a wonderful life

It's interesting that this music video takes place completely in the present. Most other TGA videos allude to the past and have very nostalgic set pieces, but this is breaks away from that.

This album came out when my first daughter was born. My second daughter is due in a month, right when Sleepwalkers comes out. I had never watched this video until now, but I almost teared up with all the little kids in it. My little girl grew up with this as a lullaby and also one of her favorite songs to dance to with me. Can't wait for the next one! =)

It's wonderful hearing Brian slowly working a few TGA tracks into his live shows. I hope it's a sign of things to come. Either way, I'll love anything whether it's from TGA or Brian solo, but I sure do miss them great TGA tracks live! He did 'National Anthem' a few months back at Terminal 5, NYC; 'Boxer' last night at Crossroads in Jersey, until tonight... 'We Came to Dance' would be magical!! 2 more hrs.

Love the way he can be so diverse with all his songs, the Bruce touch with a bit of Dylan, rock n roll folky sounds, yet always individual in the way he sings, the way he writes, the way he looks, his morals and beliefs. A little shy at times (which is sooo cute!) but his confidence wins through in his musical talent and in the lyrics, and he's humble with it too. What an amazing man, I adore him! My crush is painful......need Painkillers!!! Badoom!! :-)

The building in the start of the video is Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The "Greetings from Asbury Park" sign on it has been there since pretty much before Bruce used it as inspiration for his "Greetings from Asbury Park" album cover. It is an iconic music venue that has hosted many amazing musicians. I think Brian used that shot because he is proud of his NJ roots.

I like your wit and clever way you had chosen the wrong arrangements not like majority ways of orginal and sounds fresh and unique yet so hip I start dancing continuously soand great lyrical work I enjoy your language dialogue orginal using your style the rhythm and instrumental spot on your runs those all in all differences like Elvis was lyrically out side the box before his time you have a "vibe" not a style your my favorite it's all freshly you've created a sound all your own boo items out there isn't and didn't have the natural quiver abd vibrational tones draw percussive tones abd yet your got a great rock yet no it's like a grudge type style you song ava soothing it up I'm pleased I'd stumbled across you my friend wild fire just buzzing hits your songs with a quickness watch

I saw Brian at a festival last summer in the same field in Asbury that's in the opening. One of the letters light was out on the 'Greetings from Asbury Park' sign and Brian mentioned that he would climb up there to fix it if it didn't get fixed within a year. Well either he or somebody else got the job done I guess.

While it nods at Springsteen I think the video represents growing up in jersey as a whole. It nods at taking trips to the shore, hanging with friends, getting in the car and driving to just get away blasting music.
@Kvothe19889 жыл бұрын
+Kevin Jerzewski lets face it is, Fallons music is more than a nod to the Boss, it has HUGE Springstein elements, and so doe she, even the way he holds himself and performs screams Springstein, not that its a bad thing at all, he first few GA was heavily springstein inspired too and they are tremendous
