My Dad died recently. I know this song is about a friend thay died in a car crash, but some of the lyrics really resonate. I do wonder if my Dad, a lifelong musican and music lover, heard music as he died. I wonder if he heard it coming. If so, I hope he heard music he loved and that made him feel at peace.

Here I am again in Kansas City (sep23,2022) and I'm about to see TGA for the very first time, and I'm tearing up thinking about hearing this song and the closure it will bring to me as my mother is now dying from stage 4 stomach cancer. Thank You all for your kind words. EDIT: my mother passed away last Saturday morning (Nov 26 2022).
