I'm puzzled by Brian's opinion on Korn's music because a couple years ago I watched his faith testimony on TV and he said he was mortified to hear his young daughter singing the lyrics of the music he made. So what's with this opinion now that the music isn't evil or problematic? I haven't listened to Korn so I don't have a personal opinion. I am so happy to hear the change God made in his and his parent's lives. His drastic transformation and testimony really impacted his parents. Jesus is good at what he does. I love how the Holy Spirit is moving in the rest of his band-mates too--all it takes is one changed person to shift the atmosphere. Much love to both these gentlemen!

It's not because korn's lyrics don't mention satan that they are not evil, it mentions a lot of messed up and wicked stuff, and i'm sure it lead many kids to a rebellious behaviour, i know it did to me! It only talks about drugs, sex, hate, rebelion, depression and it only leads you deeper and deeper into this world, and the god that rules it, satan, not to Christ. You can't be a friend of the world and a friend of God (James 4:4); You have to abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Ts 5:22); It's pretty shocking that people can't see Brian is in a backslidden state, it only shows how blind people are to the truth... If you are reading this, pray that God would open your eyes to His gospel and give you a desire for truth... I believe Brian was for real during a period, and was on his way out, but got deceived by the serpent. It's a shame.... i pray God gets him back, in Jesus name, Amen!

I like this dude. He seems so very mature and pleasant. At peace . When my son who is about to turn 33 this minth, was in High school he listened to Korn ,Marlilyn Manson, Eminem,and several others that i didnt like. .But i didnt believe in censorship of what my kids listened to . I knew the gothic phase and this type music would eventually fade as he matured. I told both kids that i didnt care who they listened to but to at least read the lyrics and thst i would appreciate not being subjected to having to hear that music .They wore headphones. Lol. One day i walked in the house and my son had several CDs in his hands and he asked did i want them cause he was done with those groups and he wasnt going to give them to his friends cause he didnt want them to hear it either. The next thing i knew he was outside with his BB gun shooting those CDs to pieces. 😂My son grew a foot that day and walked a bit more confident. 🙏❤️.

The Bible says: The Kingdom of heaven is within. If someone tells you its out there(pointing to the sky) the birds will precede you(meaning,be more spiritually rich). If they tell you its down there(pointing to the water)the fish will precede you. Until you realize the kingdom of heaven is within you will live in poverty and will be poverty( similar to eastern teachings, thats in the book of Thomas and i obviously used my own verbage)

Thankfully, salvation in Christ Jesus instant and complete. We don't have to do good works for 'completion' because our 'good works' are filthy rags compared to God. We do good works because we are saved, not to 'earn' salvation as Jesse believes.

Jesse’s theology is very unclear to me. It doesn’t seem that he has read Ephesians 2:8 and 9. I don’t know if he’s truly saved or not. He is an interesting fellow though.

I don't understand Brian. I really don't. Why ? He seems to be so sincere and honest in this interview, that is hard not to believe what he says. And yet he is still playing in KoRn ? How can you play in such a band ? Just listen to the lyrics of the songs and the filty & dirty language they use there ? So, how can you still be part of such a band who praise Satan, after you've met JESUS? Brian, God really loves you but He can't accept you in His Heaven if you don't make a 180 degree change in your life. You can't have God and the goodies of Satan in the same time. You really touched my heart in this interview, and that's why I took the time to write you these words. May God and our Lord Jesus Christ open your spiritually eyes for good. God BLESS YOU !
@MetaMW668 жыл бұрын
There is nothing satanic about Korn, most churches tell people metal is evil and satanic. When in reality most metal is about depression and personal struggles if you actually listen to the lyrics. Satanic metal has it's own genre called black metal. Please don't be so stupid you're embarrassing yourself and the image of Christianity by saying such ignorant things. If you claim something is satanic you need to back it up with proof. It's sad to see that leaders in the Christian faith are this stupid.

I'm a christian and i will say this everybody sorta has a level of degree that they are dealt. I think he is in a much better place then he was at plus you have to remember most solid christians don't hang around the people this man does meaning God may be using him as a means to communicate with those who never hear God, so there is a purpose to it. Remember what Paul says "Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." 1 corinthians chapter 9. So there you have it. God is working. Remember this as well, a person such as this has been through alot which was much much more nefarious then korn is. Just saying. Its a step in the right direction and may save alot along the way so i applaud him coming from that environment to even uphold God takes courage.
