Anton is such a perfectionist that it creates real tension in his shows. I think that he just wants it to be as good as it can be but has higher standards than the audience who probably cut him some slack.

no he isn't, he literally rips songs off from the 60's and 70's and just makes a few tweaks. respond to me and i'll give you all the songs he has ripped off in his biggest songs for his band. dude is a phony and passes it off as "pastiche" because g. porridge said that in a doc. Sailor by BJM is a complete rip off of The Cryan Shames “Sailing Ship” BJM “when jokers attack” - yardbirds “heart full of soul” BJM “Those Memories” - Dolly, Emmylou, and Linda Ronstadt “Those Memories Of You” BJM “All things great and small” - Simon and Garfunkel “el condor pasa” And of course there’s that time where he went ahead and recorded Matt Tow’s song as his own because why not. I saw this same line-up the other year in Nashville with my brother. It was our 4th BJM show. Anton has gone off on his bandmates every time I've seen them. It always sucks because it ruins the vibe. They sound great & people in the audience are having a fantastic time, then out of nowhere Anton blows up. Last time in Nashville was the worst I have ever seen him go off. It was bad. Lots of personal attacks from Anton & one of the players walked off the stage for a short time. There was a "fuck you" shouting match between the keyboard player & Anton. Anton told him to get off the stage. Everyone took a break & came back to finish the set. My brother saw them a month later in North Carolina & asked the keyboard player about the Nashville show. The keyboard player said that was the worst night so far, in terms of Anton going off, but that it wasn't a big deal. That he & Anton were "cut from the same cloth". Seems like they don't really take it personally after the show? I don't know how because what I witnessed in Nashville was the worst I had seen.

I saw them 3 days ago fir the third time,surprisingly no fights but not profesional concert worst start and took like10 mi between every song… venue didnt have good acoustics too…but yeah anton can be chill for once lol i also saw in Akl him berating the blonde drummer who’s fired i talked to him after and he was a legend chill and said that it was like a routine Heras used to lol but in this specific video it’s true it was distorted too loud so i wish he would have stop the gig 3 days ago and lower the fricking bass and everything you can’t enjoy it it doesn’t sound good!!!!!

It's hard when you have engineers who don't listen or who say, "Eh, it's fine." But you hear it on stage and if it's not what you want to be hearing, a show can be a nightmare and it can make it hard to perform as well as you want to and as well as an audience deserves. I never have an issue with *any* artist on stage if there's an issue with the sound for them. I've been there. If it sucks, it makes the show a chore and you're fighting through the technology - and that's the last thing you or the audience deserve.

If I was Anton, I'd sack the whole band except Colin and Joel at the end of the tour, they seem to just turn up and not give a flying fuck. I think most of them are only there so they can use the BJM association to promote their own crappy side projects.

@@ThinkYerArchie Yep, I think Joel threw a tambourine pretty angrily because Anton was really getting to him at one of the Brighton gigs. But I think the source of Anton's frustration is the band are constantly fucking up, they get the tempos wrong, they turn their amps up too loud etc. I've never seen them have to restart so many songs so many times on a tour before.
