No. Lara's greatest test innings vs NZ was his 147 at the Basin Reserve in 1994/95 when W.I. piled on a massive total, also including Jimmy Adams who top scored with 151, and wicker keeper Junior Murray scored his solitary test hundred with 101*. Also Sherwin Campbell made 88, Keith Arthurton 70, and Shivnarine Chanderpaul 61*. NZ lost by an innings and plenty being bowled out cheaply in both innings, primarily by the great Courtney Walsh who took 13 for 55 for the match, with 7 - 37 in the first innings and 6 - 18 in the second. The great Curtley Ambrose had a quiet match with only 1 or 2 wickets but it was Walsh's match and he was m.o.m too. That was when the Windies was still a very very formidable team. The other opening batsman with Campbell was Stuart Williams, + Lara, Adams, Arthurton, Canderpaul & Murray, with the attack being Ambrose, Walsh, Kenneth Benjamin and bowling allrounder Winston Benjamin. Good team!
