Brian’s parents should be held accountable for covering up that their son was ‘missing’ days after he fled. They aided him with getting away, and they’re partially responsible for stopping him from being brought to justice. They’re just as guilty of trying to cover their sons crimes. Hold them accountable!

@stellaom53912 жыл бұрын
Uh, yeah! Especially the “quantity and quality of the evidence gathered by FBI leaves no doubt that Laundries was responsible for Gabby’s death.” That makes it sound like clues were pieced together. It’s not like they claimed they had to compare handwriting samples to conclude the confession was authentic. I wonder if the written confession wasn’t really a confession, but more of a journal with passages that could corroborate the events that led to her death.

This just confirms what we all suspected…or basically knew. Everything pointed to this. It is still shocking the FL police dropped the ball on this & let Brian get away & harm himself. It is miraculous though that he left a confession. One of the biggest things I think many of us want to know is if besides claiming responsibility & confessing did he show remorse? Did he say that he was sorry for killing his fiancé? Did he apologize did the Petito & Schmidt families for killing their daughter or did he continue to be a narcissist who felt sorry for himself? It is sad that he died but he was the sole architect of all this tragedy & death. He killed Gabby & took his own life. He robbed Gabby’s families of answers. I hope that this brings continued awareness about domestic violence. This week a Detroit man doused his pregnant girlfriend with lighter fluid & lit her on fire. She has 60% of her body burned & even despite this attack, this woman didn’t initially want to go to authorities apparently for fear of him. That is insane. It was only after some assurances of protection did she admit to what happened. The insane judge gave this career criminal only a $50,000 bond. He very well could get out & finish the job. We keep hearing stories about career criminals out on parole or bond who should still be jail out reoffending again. There have been numerous murders & domestic violence revenge killings because suspects were out of jail due to soft on crime policies. Victims are being let down by the system & politicians who have literal blood on their hands.

Ever since I heard that Brian and his family went camping soon after his return, I suspected that he had told them he was going to kill himself and that his parents gathered the family on that camping trip to spend the last days as a whole family (maybe even scope out the place he'd go to do it). I also believe that his parents didn't cooperate with the police because the police would have kept him from killing himself, and they didn't want to see him behind bars. As a parent myself, I can kind of see the "logic" behind their thinking, but it meant the prolonged suffering of Gabby's parents. And it wasted so much of the authorities' time searching for him that could have been focused on someone's truly missing parent, child, or other beloved family member. As of right now, there are 107 kidnapped or missing persons listed on the FBI's website. May those families, as well as Gabby's family, find the closure they desperately need.

Not if the parents are even more desperate to hide the truth.....people claim he is narcissist, and if so...?!? 🤷♀️ It's a proven fact that parents or the caretaker very often have the same diagnosis, and are the reason to how/why their own children got the same.... Or if the child is placed on a pidestall and always being the best, better than everyone else, always getting their way and never taking responsibility for bad behavior or actions "because they are flawless, and anything bad is always someone else fault" +++ just giving the short explanation of the diagnosis, because that could explain a LOT about how much difference it is between parent's without the diagnose and how the parents with the diagnose would handle all of this...... They would go above and beyond to cover ANYTHING making them look bad, and some of them would even eliminate...... Maybe B was getting closer to talk... And the parents ended that possibility themselves, and that's why they knew exactly where he was, and why they so desperately wanted the diary.... Because that's the only reason why they had to show where the body was, and pretend to find him.... In hope of getting the book they perhaps thought was in he's rom ect...🤷♀️ I Don't know, but nothing would surprise in this case, so I wouldn't be stuck to one theory when so much are personal theories🤷♀️?! Everything could be right ... based on still having few evidence, with a lot of confusion and even more suspicion......

Big thing here is the Laundrie's attorney saying 'closure of this case.' Everyone was quick to close this case, even though there are so many unanswered questions. He brought her van home without her, parents contacted nobody. He went camping in the reserve, parents wait a few days then go pick up his car. They knew he didn't need his car and they didn't want to lose it. The FBI probably moved him from the area at that time. The Laundrie's are involved in something bigger than Gabby Petito, and this case was rushed, from the father finding Brian's belongings when he shouldn't have been allowed to touch anything at the scene, to shortly thereafter Brian's 'remains' were found nearby, though dogs had previously searched the entire area. Quickly identified , cause of death being a gunshot wound, though no mention of a gun being found. Now the confession that Brian killed Gabby, but Brian's 'dead' so nothing else to do. Everyone stop looking for Brian Laundrie. Case closed.n. Read or watch anything about witness protection situations. People disappear and cases are closed when something bigger is at stake. This wouldn't even have made a believable crime movie. None of it makes any sense.
@Mac-po1sr2 жыл бұрын
It's really not that complicated. He killed her. Drove home. He either did not talk about it with his family, pretended everything was ok, or told them the truth. Either way he must of realized he was not going to get away with it or could not live with the guilt. So he took a walk in to the wilderness (a Florida swamp) and killed himself. Then it rained for weeks and they only found his body once the water receded. Case closed.

They said in this video that there was a revolver found. Also, the van being hers seems to be a mistake repeated on television, because I could never find the original source for it. Losing a child is something that NEVER "heals." One never "gets better." Very often, in the instance of a child's death, years 2-6 can be even worse than the first year, which is a blur of shock and disbelief. In following years it becomes "real" true. It is shattering. A bereaved parent is forever changed, and many, many (perhaps a majority of) marriages do not survive the death of a child. The personal grief is simply too big, and too impossible to coordinate with a partner, no matter how good the relationshipmwas to begin with. One learns to live with the wounds of this most cruel happening, but the wound never heals. Any parent thinking this through knows it is true. Brian Laundrie has ruined several lives, that will always bear the painful shadow of her murder. Don't ever ask a bereaved parent, "Are you Ok now?" One is never OK after such an occurrence. A d please, do not EVER say "It's part of God/ plan," or "She is in a better place." These are especially horrible to hear from well-wishers. Add to that the inane comment that is also very common, "Thank goodness you have other children. "

First of all, not talking and stay silence is not the same as hindering an investigation (or in the US, it's called Obstruction of Justice) This is within the US Constitution right not to self incriminate, which mean the constitution allow you the right not to cooperate with Law Enforcement, and you cannot use that as weapon against them. The only way they can be charged with obstruction is when they were lying when asked by Local or Federal Law Enforcement. But if you stay silent, you cannot lie as you said nothing, so it's hard do pin that on the family if and when they stay silent.

Thanks for the non-update. Whether or not Brian did it was never a confusing topic to anyone but to those in law enforcement. What we all really want to know is when is LE going to bring the Laundie parents up on charges of obstructing justice, planting evidence, and then when are you going to realize that you were completely lead on a wild goose chase by the Laundrie parents, and that Brian Laundrie is still very much alive and in hiding somewhere. No one is buying the story that "after MONTHS of searching this reserve, LE was not able to find any clues as to Brian's whereabouts, and then THE VERY DAY the reserve was opened back up to the public and both Laundrie parents were allowed into the reserve, it only takes them 30 minutes to find evidence"...??? Give us all a freakin break..... From day one, everything that the Laundrie parents did absolutely SCREAMS that they were hiding information and distorting the truth, and it completely floors me that our FEDERAL law enforcement officials could be so easily duped. You're supposed to be smarter than that. I get that the Barny Fifes in the local PD's get it wrong all the time. But, FEDERAL law enforcement is supposed to be much harder to fool. She screamed domestic violence victim during that stop. Everything about her body language and the way she was talking indicated that she was in danger. You could tell she was minimizing the situation with her boyfriend and that even though she was blaming herself she was probably lying to the police. Abusers are really good at grooming, which is exactly where she, was and apparently traumatized, she was shaking and nervous. I wouldn’t of bought a word of what she or the witnesses said. The witnesses may not have seen everything and she just looked like she was lying to the police. Not a great lier either, not sure how police couldn’t tell. Maybe it’s because I’m a survivor of domestic violence that I could see right through her. Such a huge problem in Utah. So huge that shelters are overcrowded and they have no resources. A woman with kids can’t be in a homeless shelter, women in general, not safe. So how are they supposed to leave and stay safe. Allot of abusers financially control the person being abused so they can’t leave. At least children weren’t involved - would of made things even more horrific.
@Raptorman09092 жыл бұрын
It is so common for women victims to blame themselves and Gabby clearly demonstrated that during the stop in Moab. The cops that stopped them should have gone deeper but they are seldom trained to spot these situations and if they are more proactive they are at risk of being sued -- the police departments and the individual officers. Apparently the cops that stopped them in Moab have been temporarily removed from duty but will probably return before long and I for one can't fully blame the cops for this anyway given the scope of the training they receive and the legal risks for being more proactive. It's tragic and sad how it ended as many of these domestic abuse cases have unhappy endings. Hopefully, the exposure of this problem will make others more aware and that hopefully will include the police. Think about the person that witnessed the altercation in Moab and did there duty to call the police -- they did what they should and still she died.

Sorry, but you clearly dont understand cluster b disorders bc brian had signs of aspd if anything, not npd(npders are more likely to be controlling. Most people who commit heinous crimes have 0 personality disorder and are normal people who make stupid decisions. Would you say someone by your logic with bipolar is psychotic? Or crazy? how about depression? i'll guess no. But yet, you let Hollywood give a false light and stigma you blindly spread. I have aspd. Im a loving mother, i moderate a support group for almost 20k people with narcissistic and other cluster B personality disorders. We are hard working people. Many who have kids, pets they love, there is a trauma component and also biological/genetic to disordered personality. So please don't let Hollywood dictate how you view personality disorders. Just like all other mental health conditions, ours is painted in brutal stigma, the worst of them all frankly, and we deserve the same kind of respect as anyone else. This is why many people in my group don't get treatment. One, clinicians even have a bias, and two, they think why bother? Even if someone with npd changes and lives a sound life the rest of the world (people like you) will paint them in the worst light possible no matter how good they act. You cannot hold another persons mistakes on another individual. Brian is the murderer. You can parent flawlessly and sitl end up with a bad kid, one personality disorder free. youtube has good people with PD's who try to explain it to the world how they have it all wrong. you should research before regurgitating stigma about conditions you haven't a clue about what it's like to live with or around.
