I am also a huge fan of Queen's / BM / RT but this particular piece if Sir Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations No. 9 - "Nimrod". As I'm also a huge fan of Elgar's, this is especially delightful for me. Fun fact: Sir Edward (then Master of The King's Music) was the first artist to record at the then newly-opened Abbey Road Studios, London. (He was conducting an orchestra playing music he wrote). There is a blue plague on then-then EMI studios to commemorate this. Only three decades later did those studios, located in Abbey Road, change their name to match the road's name. That was because another of their famous artists recorded (yet another) album there, which, this time, they named after the road. Though, disappointingly for this post, Queen actually recorded at Trident Studios in their Early days, not Abbey Road. Still, the whole band built their music on accomplishments by The Fab Four (as they readily proclaim) - heck there's even a Song For Lennon. Now, of course, many bands build their works on Queen, too. Apropos Elgar - do check his works out, especially Enigma Variations and his Cello Concerto. Ab Fab. Apropos The Beatles - well, almost anything is worth listening to. Apropos Queen - since I bought their first LP in 1973, I've been a fan. Only saw them once (1976/77) but they are worthy second highest-selling band in the history of Rock (and all-time). Cheers, Happy Crimble and a Healthy 2025 to you and all.

Glad to hear you're doing so much better Brian. I had a brain tumor removed a couple of decades ago and I had to relearn things a 5 year old had mastered. My long term memory is impeccable, but my short term memory is horrible. Not a stroke, but just as serious. My prayers continue for you and your family...🙏🏻🎄
