In 1985, Queen played Japan for the last time. When Brian asked if they wanted to sing, Love of My Life- they went wild, and were the most beautiful chorus you'll ever hear. Freddie stood right at the front of the stage and sang a line or two- but the audience serenaded Freddie, who stood quietly until the last verse with a tear in his eye. God Bless Queen and the great people of Japan who loved them so much.

You know why REAL LEGENDS never die?? Because they consistently live in all of their soul and heart that they gave through music, lyrics, voice and song... and so long as we love them.. and ALL that they were.... they will never really leave. Their legacy is continued through our love for them! On that note.. FREDDIE will not only live forever but INFINTELY in all the hearts, souls and minds he touched! Who wants to live FOREVER? If you give enough of the core of your heart and soul... it doesn't matter if you want to or not.... YOU will live forever in all of the love!

Don't hate me but I did meet Freddie Mercury , Roger Taylor and John Deacon (Brian May was ill) They were live in person at Korvette's Dept store in NYC back 1975 for "A Night at the Opera " release . I went behind their table because security wasn't a big deal back then and had my arms over both Freddie and Roger's shoulders with my face in between them but none of my pics came out . Back then you used a flash cube and I couldn't find one that fit my camera . My friend got a few up close shots though and I have one on my FB page of them walking in. Freddie didn't say a word . I just thought he was extremely shy or in awe of the crowd . He just looked around . Queen II is my favorite album of all time

I live near LA and around 2012, I accidentally stood by Brian when he was shopping at the famous Farmers Market/aka The Gove on Fairfax and 3rd. The shop sold kitchen things and wine etc. I was so stunned that all I could say was " I loved your music," He smiled and said "Thank you" then took out his wallet to pay for what he bought. His wallet looked made for the size of the UK money! It was great. Around 1994, in the UK (Richmond) his son was 15-16? they both stopped by my window in the bus...that had stopped at a red light. What a magnificent man.

When Brian sang this song, I was SOBBING, not just teary.
