Richi Carter, he was without question, the greatest frontman, to grace the pitch at Wembley Stadium, in 1985, when Queen stole Live Aid, also it was sad when Queen stopped all their big concerts, just a few months later, in 1986, after Knebworth Park, before Freddie got his AIDS diagnosis. It was very, very sadder, when we lost Freddie Mercury, on 24th November, 1991, from AIDS, aged just 45, and John Deacon retired in 1997, in my humble opinion.

Grizzly Bear, Roger, and John are legends, and are just as vital, too. They put together an album, just shortly after Freddie's tragic, premature death, from AIDS, on 24th November, 1991. Then they organised The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, at Wembley Stadium, on 20th April, 1992, almost 5 months, after Freddie's tragic, premature death, and John retired, in 1997, that was before Adam Lambert took over as Queen's lead singer, in my humble opinion.

@@xvoidgamer, Freddie Mercury's death still upsets Queen fans, he left behind a legacy that no-one will ever forget. He, and Queen stole Live Aid, in 1985, at Wembley Stadium. He had 72,000 fans, and the world, in the palm of his hands, that evening.

@@Erick-ke4vc, Brian was a true friend, he didn't betray him, unlike so-called friend, Paul Prenter. I have a lot of respect, for the surviving members, of Queen, Brian May, and Roger Taylor, for going on TV-AM, setting the record straight, telling the media their side of the story, defending Freddie Mercury, and raising awareness of the AIDS virus, that claimed the life of 1 of music's iconic figures, their Queen bandmate, Freddie Mercury. They kept Queen's music alive throughout the years, since Freddie Mercury's death. Also, John Deacon, as his basslines were awesome, before he retired in 1997, he was a man, who just kept saying things, that were right, and at the right time, too, in my humble opinion.

I’m crying.... this just shows what such dedication Brian and Roger had and still have for this band. I respect John’s decision in quitting, the limelight isn’t for everyone. 💕

Yes because when their manager told freddie to become a solo artist he fired him. They are family.

I think it was just too heartbreaking for john to be in the band without Freddie, but so much respect for Brian and roger for keeping Freddie with us after all these years

I wish I was born in the 70's so I could watch Freddie live. I hate being a 2000's kid. Should have been born earlier, in the good days.

I was born in the ‘70s and it was truly the last generation of its kind. I have kids now and I wish they had the free childhood I had because it was so great.
