As a die hard queen fan, you can identify yourself with the interviewer, talking with brian about tenement funster, ogre battle, or great king rat as they wete we will rock you or something. I would love to ask brian about she makes me, some day one day or jesus, songs like that

February 9 1975 I was 8 years old. My parents took my cousin and I to see Queen, Kansas, and Mahogany Rush!!! Changed my life forever🎸2 years ago Christmas my wife bought the Dr. May Red Special book. I read it that day, and that night I bought myself a BMG Red Special and 1 year ago Christmas my wife gave to me a Digitech RS pedal. I believe it was 2006 Her and I saw Queen +PR. That show brought her to tears... I think my eyes leaked a little too😁

Wow, you are lucky! Kansas and Queen, I was about 7 or eight when I heard Queen first. From then it was the super group, later came SAGA, TOTO and then Kansas, later when I was 18. Saw Kansas with Saga and Nazareth. But unfortunately never Queen. And thats so sad and I am quite jelous on you!😉

Such a breath of fresh air to find an interviewer who knows their stuff and asking some great questions to someone of Brian May's calibre. Does anyone know if he finally did that Queen history interview he mentions in the end? Now that would be a collector's item!

The band put everything they had into the first five albums. By NOTW they relaxed a bit and by Jazz they were meandering a bit but I guess their touring schedule was incredibly busy. I think Queen II, SHA, Opera and Races are very special and I’ll never tire of them. The golden trio being SHA, Opera and Races. I still love the band and they are my favourite band of all time.

Roger has talked about it a few times. In a 1977 interview with Bob Harris, he mentioned how the tape turned translucent. And when asked in something like '88 or '89 if they'd ever tour again and what they'd like to do, Roger mentioned it would be nice to do Queen II all the way through, particularly pointing out The March of the Black Queen. I'm sure there's been some mention elsewhere, but they're the two that immediately come to mind.

@@paddyb1281 yeah I don't remember from which interviews but the song was brought up several times when talking about Bohemian Rhapsody actually. Questions about whether Freddie shocked them with that song and them (I remember Roger mainly) saying that it wasn't shocking specifically because they had done the March of the Black Queen before, which has a ton of different sections etc..

Who did the text into the video. It is quite disturbing. English is, unfotunateley, not my mothertongue, and I look always to the text, instead of listening the speeches. That is very sad, I had to stop immediately, because I was confused to much, although I think that these 4 Albums are the greatest works of them. I lost Queen after Jazz, maybe the game, but I still hear the early tunes and love them. So it is very sad that I was not able to see that docu. Thanx atcall for your work, but it would be better to have packets of text instead of flowting words..... Wkr Lothar as ELPI

Queen II isn't a concept album. I love it when people use terms they don't understand in a feeble attempt to appear intelligent.
@declanmcgavin14145 жыл бұрын
The Oxf. def. for concept albums: a rock album featuring a cycle of songs expressing a particular theme or idea. This is basically Queen II, they are all about a kingdom, Rhye and it’s politics and landscape and social structure. In every way Queen II is a concept album, the best in my opinion.
@AndresGrimace3 ай бұрын
It is a concept album about a man living a normal life and then going to war against these mythical creatures in the Kingdom Of Rhye.
