Kerry Ellis is a great singer. Happy to have Brian enjoying making music. Sure some people might not appreciate this album but the truth is Brian earned the right to be free of restraints of Queen heritage. Sometimes it's better to be part of an interesting project than go it alone as a solo artist.

Im not one to criticize Bri. I have been a life long queen fan and basically queen is the best band ever nobody come close as far as I'm concerned. I can see where you're coming from with Kerry, but Brian does it because it's different. He's a rockstar, always will be. But every now and then it's nice to try something different, which is what this is. But as far as Adam lambert goes, I think it is actually amazing that queen performs with him now. Adam idolizes Freddie, but he doesn't try to sound like a copy of him. Adam has his own style, yet I feel he fits queens style perfectly. He's fun and outgoing, and has a wide vocal range just like Freddie which means he fits their songs. Adam was a good choice for them.

id love to hear some solo Brian may material again but he seems happy just doing shows and playing old material. Not so keen on this Kerry Ellis material either - I admire her talent, but she is a theater singer and its never quite gelled for me with Brian. So many wasted years as a guitar player since Freddie died IMO. It is his decision at the end of the day and ill never stop admiring his body of work - just wish he had pushed his guitar playing more since the early 90's and created another body of solo guitar material with a variety of artists and great musicians.

Thats a little unfair - Brian has a good body of work on his own too, and he did exciting things like Star Fleet - produced Foo Fighters, guested on Black Sabbath albums. I sadly have to agree a little with Adam Varney on this even though im a huge fan of the man. Its almost like Brian is happy painting by numbers, - its nothing creative anymore or exciting.

Ugh. This is more what passes for country pop music on country stations. It's not even rock n roll. Why did Brian chose to do this? I guess he likes all kinds of music, even bubblegum. I mean really, this song is just fucking awful. Vomit inducing. And I really hope Kerry Ellis reads this - by virtue of working with Brian May you will in no uncertain terms open yourself up to hard core Queen fans.
