I'm glad he mentioned Wembley '86 as something he was proud of - that concert was exceptional. All 4 of them gave it everything they had and it showed. I've watched both songs they played on SNL - Under Pressure and Crazy Little Thing and I have no idea which song he messed up in his "solo". He played both songs confidently and he never got a "funny look" from Freddie or Rog so no idea what he's talking about messing up on SNL. Both of them sounded fine and his guitar exchanges for Crazy Little Thing were flawless.

I think what he's referring to is how absorbed he gets when he's immersed in somthing that's comandeered his attention. He's got a bit of a compulsive side where he can't let soething go until he's "flogged it to death" and it's overdone. Anita (his current wife) has mentioned his obsession with scientific topics. She's said that when he gets started on a topic and becomes cerebral about it and she's totally out of her depth, she says "Would you like a cup of tea?" LOL

Such an interesting watch in 2024. This Bri seemed so removed from all that today's Sir Dr. Bri is still doing. Then again, while speaking of doing less, and different levels, he then went on to list a gazillion things he was doing that made me want to take a rest LOLOL So a large part is just Bri thinking he's ever been different from how he has always been. Even more so now. BUT there is almost a melancholy when he reflects on Queen. Image in that guy was told he's be working with a very talented singer, selling out arenas in minutes and they'd still be QUEEN! BTW the Production I saw in April was a production/touring machine like I had never seen in my life. Topped all previous productions in countless ways. Ya still got it and you still do it! And you still have Roger, Spike, and so many of the crew from the old days!! And what one musical project are you heading towards....back to Queen!!! lol

Brian May was once the "Love of My Life", "Good Company" & a "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy"... but later began to say: "Don't stop me Now I'm Here" "i want it all", "I want to break free" "Some Day, One Day" and thought he was "Doing Alright" wanting to "Play the game" with "one vision", but came "under pressure", & was deemed to be both "Death on Two Legs" & a "Liar", then soon realised he was "the loser in the end", thinking: "see what a fool I've been" - "I'm Going Slightly Mad" and so "Was It All Worth It?". They used to say to him: "You're My Best Friend" but now say "Who Needs You" ya "Great King Rat?"... "You Don't Fool Me" you "Stone Cold Crazy" "White Man" ... "Nevermore" will I "Let Me In Your Heart Again" Brian!

Lord he reminds me of my late husband,, Music. Professor Dan Falkner. Both voice & music. Choir,,Marching. Band,,Stage Band at our High School. Retired then taught Jazz,,Pep,, & Stage Band. All the while,, he played in bands all week end,,every single week end & guess what other subjects he taught??? Science & Math. Yes. Greatest Hits III are mostly studio compilations with few exceptions - so he was technically correct. Check out the list of songs - none of them were Queen songs sung on stage. Under Pressure is the one with David Bowie, The Show Must Go On is with Elton John, Somebody to Love was George Michal and those 3 were sung at the Freddie Tribute Concert. Barcelona was Freddie's solo performance with Montserrat Caballe, Driven by You is Brian solo from Back To The Light
