What none of us can understand is the pressure, the touring schedule, the fame, and the chaos of it all. To expect that anyone comes through this experience unscathed isn't possible. To know that Brian and Nicky are still friends speaks to the deep connection and love they have for one another. Thank you for the conversation and letting us all know that healing, forgiveness, and friendship remains. Westlife is a gift to us all.

This makes me smile. It doesn’t even feel wrong. It just feels like 2 long lost best friends catching up after two decades. They are truly a definition of “we can go without talking to each other for a long time, but when we see/talk to each other, it’s like no time has passed.” Brian and Nicky was always my favorite friendship in Westlife because they just had that connection that I can’t explain. I know people are saying Nicky and Shane (and I’m sure it’s true now), BUT to me Brian and Nicky just have that chemistry between them. I don’t know how else explain. I’m sure people can see that in this interview though. I truly hope for a 5 member reunion in some way (maybe not necessarily to join the band - even though I think that’d be awesome)

The world is healing! Westlife was my first love. I remember being in junior high school, watching their music videos over and over, feeling pure happiness. Brian was my ‘bias,’ and my heart broke when I heard about him and Kerry 😅 and even more when he left the band💔. I cried so much. Ever since then, I’ve always dreamed of seeing a Westlife concert with Brian back in the group. I pray that this dream comes true someday. Please! 🙏❤

I didn't know I needed this. And not bc of closure or the need of explanation. I am a fan from the early days and will always be a fan. Whenever things go bad in life i come back to Westlife. I put on a record, watch a concert, whatever. Westlife makes me feel better, makes me forget a little while and brings me back to my roots when I need it. After hearing of Liam Payne's passing yesterday I felt off kilter. What horrible and sad news. Especially after what media has shown us to be the last week. I turned on this podcast by chance on a long train journey and it really helped me. I don't know if its your voices that are so familiar that they make me feel that everything can be ok or maybe the topics of brotherhood, mad experiences...I don't know. But thank you anyway for this. A great conversation. 💚

I listened to Nicky's podcast for the first time this morning and i really enjoyed listening to Brian's side of why he left westlife 20 years ago it was insightful to hear what was going through his head at that point it cant be easy to be in a band as big as westlife are and be away from your loved ones most of the time so i completely get why he left now. I’m always right in my observations of how these two are the closest ones to each other in terms of their relationship with each other in and out of the band. It’s always been these two lads judging by their old and prior videos and interactions when Brian was still part of the quartet. I feel a bit bad after watching this video that I have never listened to Westlife songs from after Brian left. I still listen to the Westlife songs/albums with Brian to this day. Brian was my favorite of the 5 and I just lost interest in new Westlife music after he left, and because the tabloids were writing that there was blood between the guys and which I guess I didn’t fault Brian for in hindsight, so I only listened to his solo songs/albums with Real To Me still my favorite.

I stopped buying Westlife’s album since Brian left. The sound and melody was just so different. But I have always admired these guys, they are still my top favorite boyband. I just stopped buying their merchandise.
