J Smooove so true me too. People think that for an artist to "make it" or be "rated" he/she has to hit Drake or Taylor Swift status. I've read here someone say Luther Vandross was underrated? I'm like whaaaaaaat? just shut up.
@JSmooove8 жыл бұрын
eWorkx BAHAHAHAHAHAHA now that's just dumb. Luther underrated??? These guys held "drake" status before drake was around lol. Time has passed and the music changed since these guys were topping the charts. I for one enjoy these "oldies" when music was music. Nowadays there's very little music with any content. But like I said, trends have changed and for what ever reason, today's music is popular. But back in my time, it was guys like this who rode the top of the charts

I don't get all those who say he still got it. He is even better than he ever was. The maturing in execution control and just sheer command of both instruments is remarkable. I don't know of any other contemporary of his who is this masterful. This rendition of this song is more evidence of his growth as it is remarkably better than the song we initially heard many years ago. That said, he does have exceptional talent within his family I believe. He is a great and I'm talking Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder et al kind of great, regardless of how one feels about his song writing. I don't think I have this level of proficiency in anything in my life.

Sweetest sounding tenor with an easy transition to a falsetto! This guy should sing opera! Why hasn't he won a Grammy?
