I’ve learned so much from Murph and the NADDPOD crew. The transition from season 1 to season 2 is especially helpful. Wish more actual plays recorded parts of their session 0, but I get why they don’t.

I love Murph for his NPCs. He sets his players up to dunk on them so well. Plus, he does that thing where you can just hear him holding his face in his hands as his players attempt to destroy him.

I have aphantasia, so theatre of the mind isn't that great for me. But I get that it's good to know that there's not some actual layout that I'm missing out on.

This rules, I never thought too deeply about how he designs his encounters but they're always brilliant, engaging, good for listeners and easy and good to reproduce for home play too. Murph is humble but he's really one of the greatest DMs out there
