D Mc Thank you! There sure is this simplicity going on in the Emo or whatever we want to call it style exemplified at the beginning of this song. Of course, it seems nowadays some bands are the opposite, too, i.e. shredding and sweep picking for most of the song along with constant blast beats, etc. Personally, I find it tiring to listen to those kinds of bands but that's not to say they're bad. It's all a matter of taste. I like songs neither too simple but nor too technical. But then again, what is 'simple' and 'technical' are somewhat subjective, too! :)
