Freddie deserves the crown that he wears at the end, my opinion the best rock performer ever although he was an excellent performer with whatever he did. Few comes close but he was the best. I was very sad the day he died but he left us with an amazing gift of music. You are a legend., thank you for what you gave us. R.I.P.

I lived in Wembley at the time and you could see the Stadium from our back garden and hear the concerts as well, not to clearly but you could tell what song was being played, it was great. I remember hearing Queen's concert and being gutted because my parents wouldn't let me go because I was a bit young. Someone invent a time machine please!

Sean, I am from Dollis Hill and me and my dad went to both gigs. I was 11 at the time. We walked home after the Saturday. We got totally soaked, but it was so worth it! We used to hear all the concerts from our house. Live Aid is the first I remember, but Queen, who are my favourite band along with Zep, The Who, Purple and all those guys, they were the first and best gig I attended. So powerful. I was also at Freddie's tribute gig in 1992. We were so lucky to have lived so near....

queen has been probably the most democratic band in the world, four members contributing all of them with songs, playing and singing, with no changes of members in all their story. A remarkable feat, probably due to the touch of class of the Doctor and the graduate in biology.

@@hannyhawkins7804 Good, i didn't know, very good for Doctor Deacon, those three May, Deacon and Taylor were learned people, and this was why they got to keep the band united so many years without changes and with respect for each other, not like Deep Purple which was the absolute opposite sample.

I think if Freddie did a concert now he would be disappointed by the amount of fans watching him on stage through the camera screens of their mobile phones. All he would see is a crowd of smartphones for faces. It's such a shame. I understand record a little moment or two to enjoy later, but people literally record the whole show and are ultimately missing out on the overall experience of being there.

Nonsense. Freddie always embraced new technology. Knowing how many concerts Queen did and how many of them are properly recorded, those phone videos would be a blessing now. I would give anything for a poor video of Freddie's last performance. And there are none.

I was born in 1984, I'm from Mexico, and I was introduced to Queen since I was very little thanks to my dad, Freddie had already passed, I remember my dad saying he passed from AIDS (this is also the first memory I have of this disease). Years later when I was probably in my early 20's I bought the DVD of this concert at Wembley as a present to my dad for Father's Day...little did I know watching that with my dad would totally make me fall in love with this band, the show was just so powerful and mesmerizing, and oh did I have a crush on John ♡ that bass is always so good! Anyway, it just makes me sad that Freddie didn't have a longer life :(

Was there on the Sat - Front Row and Center - Was at Live Aid a year earlier - this time in their career was a very special time, maybe it's because Freddie knew? But it certainly was a privilege to be there - the 60's kids go on about being at Woodstock, the 70's go on about Knebworth - We had Wembley!!

I love how focused Brian is before going onstage. He knows that guitar inside out and he's still going to check and check every setting. I think I'd probably start questioning my own knowledge of how volume knobs work ten seconds before playing to that crowd, too.

A cassette of this performance (called "Queen Live at Wembley Stadium" or something) was released in 1986. I bought it and then listened to it on my first Walkman over and over and over again until I thought I'd actually been there. That tape must have worn out or I got interested in Guns and Roses and lost it - or it's in some box in my parents' attic. But it was really great and this documentary makes me rather sad that I let it go. Fickle creatures, teenagers. Fickle and unreliable. Speaking for myself as someone who was one once, of course. Long ago.

It's on CD and Spotify too. Much better than the abomination of an album that was Live Magic, which was also partly recorded at Wembley.

The concert doesn't start until that guitar kicks in. I would give my left testicle to have an absolutely epic moment like that in my life.

I feel a bit sorry for John Deacon as he never gets the credit he deserves. This video is a prime example of that. Freddie, Brian & Roger with hardly a mention of poor John.

Really? I see it more as them respecting the fact he wants to be out of the spotlight. If he was talked about regularly people would still be riding his ass for attention. Maybe he asked them to just leave him out of interviews, gigs and everything else. We’ll never really know.
