Brian shot only 100% in his 3 pointers this game, that's 20% below his average.

In all seriousness, Scal hit some HUGE shots in this game. Definitely one he'll always remember I'm sure.

Asmosis Jones and he was subbed in because other players fouled out and Lawrence Frank didnt have a choice but to put him in. And Lawrence Frank muttered to himself “fuck” before sending Scal in the game. That pissed off the White Mamba and hence he erupted in this game.

Brian scalabrine's 3 pointer were all counted as 1 point because of the restriction by David Stern. He not only limited his playing time, also changed his scoring rules. This is the only time he let go the playing time rescrition. But 3 point restriction still applies.

Life long Nets fan, and in all seriousness, Scalabrine was an important player in winning the game. He had game. Reason why he had about 10 year career in the league and was beloved wherever he went.

I've always been a Lakers fan, but it seems to me that Scalabrine was a team player who was just solid, big, and capable of making good shots when he had the opportunity. You don't go ten years in the league without providing genuine utility. Even if he wasn't the big name making the big plays, he was the kind of player that created the opportunities and assists for the big names. I'm sure for coaches it was nice just knowing they had a solid dude on the bench who could keep the status quo when called upon and not cause unnecessary risk with ego and theatrics. It's no doubt why he was primarily played after a big game-winning lead.

Notice that Scal let his teammates brick the ball because it would be unfair if he always shoot. As you can see, 4/4 from 3! Sheesh. Imagine that in 50 attempts.
