Honestly bro what do we expect,I’m 17 years of age and I’m already so checked out I’ve seen it all with this dumb team to know that Jerry jones could care less about what’s happening around him and ive always said this he doesn’t have to try anymore because it’s not like he has no rings on his finger and he’s got (3) in the 90s after that he became the richest most valuable franchise on the planet he has it all and to him at least this is what I believe a man with succes and money at that age with no one to tell him no and plus I didn’t get or have hype for him doing the right thing and getting a head coach that fits this team just another puppet for him to toy with.i think I might be done with this franchise if he hires Bryan shithiemer as our head coach 😂

BTW, are you sure you're not being hindsighty right now? As an intrepid Skins fan I'm all up in your ass as Cowboys fans, and I was last year too. Other than maybe BC I couldn't find even one who even thought of making Dan Quinn the head coach instead of Mike. I found some who weren't actively scapegoating him for Dak's crushing Packers loss, but I don't think there was even a single one of you who actually wanted to promote him back then. It's the same problem I have with the Giants fans atm. Sure, they understand NOW that they should have tanked for Daniels etc, or even Maye. But they didn't understand it then. That's the problem. You gotta be on top of these things. Anyone can be hindsighty and obviously we should have drafted Tom Brady back in 2000. But you didn't know it THEN. And that's the most important part.

Somewhat. I liked Dan Quinn and did not want him to go but even back then I would have rather kept him and moved on from Mike McCarthy. So I knew him going to Washington would be a problem. I wanted to keep Dan. To be fair didn’t know he’d be this successful and this fast but I predicted that Washington would win at least 11 games with him but y’all exceeded my expectations so yes hindsight a little bit but not really cause I knew Quinn would have done better than 7-10 with us and I loved him here in Dallas.

@ Well, you're the exception then, and I didn't find you last year and will trust your word on it. But it is something that seems obvious now but wasn't as obvious then. I know we had no real idea what Quinn would do, and personally I failed to be excited by the hire at the time. I've just been a Redskins fan for too long to get excited by a coach being hired. Less bragging in June-August, more doing in September-December. That's the way I think. But man does it look like a home run now, and I'm very happy about it. I'm just not going to brag and be hindsighty about it. I had no idea. I did know that McCarthy was a bad hire, though, and I never liked the Ron Rivera hire. Just because you put pants on in the morning doesn't make you civilized and presentable. He was the equivalent of that, and so was Mike. I mean can you at least part your hair and comb the leaves out of your damn beard!? We can all still tell that you're a hobo.

The Cowboys have to have a coach that runs an offense that Dak is comfortable with. Dak is on a 4 year 240 million dollar contract starting in 2025. Like it or not, the Cowboys are stuck with Dak for the next four seasons. So the smart move for the Cowboys would be to do your best to have an offense with a coach that maximizes Dak's limited skill set. Easier said than done however. I honestly don't know if any coach in the entire NFL can help the Cowboys get to a Super Bowl with the way the Jones boys build their roster, and deal out monster salaries to average players most of the time. While also avoiding signing great players from other teams that are free agents every year. I honestly don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for Dallas Cowboys fans. But I will still remain a fan of the Cowboys anyway.

As I said when the Cows signed Dak to his first long deal: you're better off signing a brand new coaching staff and drafting someone than this. He had done nothing to push Dallas forward in his rookie years. What chance do you have with him when he's actually expensive? And sure, you tried with Dan Quinn, a superb defensive coach, and Mike McCarthy, a doofus mall Santa, and Kellen Moore, a very good offensive coach. But it wasn't enough. Obviously. Well, let me say it again: even with the dead cap you're better off cutting Dak Prescott and replacing him with a rookie. Any rookie. At least it's motion towards. Very important in Latin, German and football. Hire actual football people, hand the running of the team over to them and back the F off. I just fixed the Cowboys for you, if anyone would listen to me this time. But they won't. Never do.
