WGN channel 9 started live reporting Sunday 4/31 at about 3PM local from their copper. What we saw was unreal. They reported for about 2 more days then stopped showing what was really going on after pressure from the network owners. After that, only reporters on the ground were allowed to show the aftermath of the looting, not as it was happening. By the 10th, they were only allowed to show the protesters in groups marching around, being careful not to show any altercations. That's our MSM for ya. Thanks for helping to report the truth! This is just so sad and unbelievable, and it's going on across the entire country for the most part. Thankfully where I am in Poughkeepsie NY, they are not looting and rioting. They had a very large protest here and it was peaceful. People have every right to be angry and demand change in this country. What happened to George Floyd and so many others is fucked up on so many levels. I hope these bad cops are convicted and spend decades in prison. However, these friggen criminals trashing their cities also need to be caught and prosecuted. The rioting and looting just takes away from the real issue of ending systemic racism and fighting for justice.
