Brian Barczyk as I’ve been breeding Leo’s I found if you brumate the girls for only 6 weeks and the males for 8 and spend those 2 weeks in between fattening the females up you can get way more eggs with a higher fertility rate with only 1 breeding session

Brian I really love learning from your vlogs. I love snakes but my sons father is afraid of them LOL I found that out one warm summer afternoon, I live in Upstate New York, he was under the hood of his Pick up truck working on it and i had found a beautiful big ole garter sunning itself on the walkway and i picked it up and carried it to show him what i had found. If i had a video camera it would have won the big prize on America's Funniest videos. LOL He hit his head on the underside of the hood of the truck,Turned a sheet of white and ran off screaming get that thing away from me LMAO.. Intense but gently so. The basics in this video makes for a good starter piece of information for those who do wish to get into breeding. Nice work! I love the colours and everything about the animals. This would probably also be a good start to your video game once you have it made. Lizzie 40, Rascal 46 and I've found 7 eggs and found Lizzie laying an 8th. I think I missed one before moving her over to the new home she's in so there are 2 missing eggs that I have not found, one in each Exoterra enclosure. 3 went slug and I have 2 sets of two set up in containers and one set of 1. We'll see what happens there. My health has been testy but I've lost another 3 lbs so I'm happy about that. Nothing too dramatic. OH! I have a bunch of nibblies (mostly chocolate) that the net says you cannot get in the States. I am not so sure considering how close to the border you guys are. I'm sure you've had most if not all of what there is to send right now. I'll be going to a dollar store sometime soon though so hopefully it won't be too long until I send you a tasting package for Noah to have you and Lori do a taste episode with or have a fattening up for winter session. I normally drink a decaff tea but I was also looking at the flavored tea my sister got me. The issue I find with that is they are open already and to get a full package each gets expensive. Would Lori mind some loose teas in labeled plastic bags? I don't think David's Tea is a brand that the States get either. Anyway, take care and have fun. L8tr g8trs!

I keep my colubrids, boas and BTS as pets so I don't cool them off, I also breed ball pythons and I am not cooling them off as well, they still breed during the winter and spring. I did some research on ball python wild habitat about their nature breeding season, it is more humidity cycling instead of temperature, raising humidity is one of the trigger for them to breed.

Good morning! Question Brian... when you say you increase the BP food, how much did you feed and what do you increase to? I'm asking because I heard that adult BPs can't digest food quickly and overfeeding them (or feeding too soon) can cause a lot of issues. Is that accurate?

Hi brain I work for Mike rossco in temecula California and he sed that he knows you and I hope one day u can come and see our facility I think you have been to our old shop but the new one is way better well thank u for helping me grab a hold of my dream I went and started working for mike and I took a tremendous pay cut to work with animals I mean like I was making 200,000 a year and now i work for 12.50 a hour but I'm more happier than ever because I get to do what I love and that's working with reptiles and I get to breed some of the most amazing boas and python's I myself I'm a carpet python breeder a small one but I still Perdue's a few clutches a year but thank you for giving me the inspiration to fallow my dreams
