This video is a complete SEO for beginners walk through and guide.

Then I’ll show you how to create epic content around each of the keywords that you just found. In the old days of SEO, as long as your on-page SEO was in place, you could rank. Not anymore. To rank on the first page of Google today, your content needs to be LEGIT.
Next up, you’ll learn how to optimize your content for users and search engines. This step includes a ton of tactical examples from my experience.
Finally, I show you how to optimize your post for SEO. This is the exact checklist that I use to optimize my own blog content at Backlinko. And it works.
All in all, you’ll have an SEO beginner’s guide that you can use to help rank your site on the first page of Google. Enjoy!

Hi Brian, I watched this video today to help me with my new website. I went to ask the public and exploding topics and it all made perfect sense after that - I could find very relevant exploding topics and long-tail keywords, usually 3 words and I made 2 lists of the most relevant exploding topics with the biggest growth and saw there are direct links between the most relevant keywords, so I've used the topic as the page title and the keywords in meta descriptions and in the page content. This video made it easy for me to understand the difference between the 'topic' and the search terms. It also helped me understand that some of the topics are more than likely topics that are being searched for by the industry rather than end consumer- which is what I want also. Thanks for helping me to do this pretty quickly and understand it easily.

I have a question about SEO and I hope you can help me out with it. The question is as follows: I am a photographer located in New York so I prefer location specific keywords for example "new york family portrait" However, not all potential customers will include the location in their search. Some will search for simply "family portrait" so if I use in the pages meta descriptions and actual content of the pages "new york family portrait" and they search for "family portrait" will my site still show up in their search results?
