I think there is a smart way to “modernize” the home and keep the integrity of the style, it’s all about finding a balance. many Spanish style Hollywood Hills homes and LA bungalows do this well, especially when sold by the owner versus a flipping company that wants to go with the generic white washed everything and zero character.
