I love this format. The chemistry and hype between two high level players routing for each other is great. I'm so used to seeing salt and trash talk between players fighting each other. It's cool to see a team format.

Why do people always stand after the first block on knockdown? You always get to do cr. Lk into a combo because of it Why do you sometimes use st. Hk st. Hk as a frame trap? There's like a 6 frame gap. Is it because of the spacing?

Holding back gets you out of some tick throws and frame traps. Eating a cr. Lk usually does less damage and gives worse advantage/oki, so it’s a solid play. Bafael has a video on it.
