One of the biggest implications of the Jamie drink buff is that OD Kick rekka is now a meter efficient ombo ender that gives a drink, refunds some of its own cost, and still leaves you plus. OD palm > sweep is even better now, since even tho sweep's drink only restores 0.25 drive bar, the sweep and TC still build back meter.

for 25:55 I mainly used killrush back to bait wakeup DI's. For example, I would score a knockdown with heavy blitz then charge medium tendril into a three way scenario: 1. kill rush back to avoid DI leading to PC. 2. kill rush forward to PC grab those attempting to parry it. 3. let tendril fly to those who respect it. That is the best thing I found so far after the patch.

Note on Marisa Style changes, its not all charge heavies. Just the no directional ones and overhead so stHP, stHK, and dfHP charge faster. dHP, fHK, and bHP all charge at the same speed

I don't play anybody else except ryu, but I am glad to see some low tier characters get buffed. Now hopefully there is a little more variety when I hop online. Plus, it will feel like im actually an actual game instead of just waiting for Kimberly to Teleport or Ed or end his pressure. Some characters just felt so gimmicky, like Kimberly. While others felt like they completely dictated the whole flow of the match, like Ed.

Those Cammy nerfs... haha. It's really rare to see a character drop a whole tier just from one patch, let alone something that the dev has labeled a "small" patch. But yeah, all Cammy has is her speed and they made sure to take that away from her best button and turn that button into something too hazardous to use for neutral anymore. They can't change the character's moveset so the only thing they can do to balance things is give her more damage, to bring her slightly more in line with other characters who ONLY have neutral and no projectiles. Which they haven't done yet. Surprisingly, Punk seems primed to do what needs to be done and investigate other characters, starting with Kimberly.

Couple things: one, the non important thing. Vagabond edge is a chop, not an elbow. The end animation just makes it look like an elbow. Two. No one is talking about this but you can manually time Stand fierce> stand roundhouse> stand fierce on Punish Counter meaning kimberly can punish ex DPs WAY harder than she used to.

I honestly think the Ed changes where more for lower levels where Ed can zone almost as effectively as JP and Sim but still has a lot of the tools usually kept from zoners that makes him good even when you get close making him more frustrating than zoners normally are. Though there was probably a better way of balancing for different levels of play. DI always being the answer is kinda boring even if before di being too risky to go for made Ed feel like he could get away with a bunch others would have had to risk di for.

Drive rush tends to allow extra juggling, and Jamie's drive rush launcher kick (down+2 kicks) allowed for jHk to juggle. Normal launcher kick on a grounded opponent doesn't allow for juggling with jHk (only jMp). Launcher kick as an anti air sometimes allows for jHk to juggle, but not consistently.
