Extra note about the Amex Platinum: it gets you into the escape lounges. They are common in smaller airports, including my home airport in Columbus. They aren't the nicest, but they are better than no lounge.

There are a couple other cards that have lounge access. Mostly the airline credit cards United Explorer, United club infinite, AA executive world elite, delta platinum or reserve

I don't have access to these lounges so sometimes what I do is I create a diversion whether it be medical or just a psychological advantage to make sure I get in I trip and fall that actually helps a lot as well and then when I'm being attended to you my buddy just sneaks in

At American airports you don't need lounges. In euro airports like Frankfurt, Lufthansa business lounge is a life saver

Lounges are typically buffet style, so even if there were warnings (I don't remember any the last time I was in the United lounge), I imagine there would be the risk of cross contamination?

Great video, I do have one question on credit cards though. What are you're thoughts on low spenders having multiple credit card setups? I currently have the Capital One duo (venture & SavorOne but Im upgrading the VentureX soon) and the AMEX Gold card. Should I focus on building up points on both or focus only on one setup?

Point diversity is great, even if C1 and Amex share transfer partners, it is good to have points in both ecosystems as both ecosystems tend to offer different transfer bonuses at different times.

For the centurion lounge, do you just *show* your platinum card, or do you have to swipe it? Also, I’m assuming the compare the name on the card to the name on the boarding pass when you enter?

I had to show it and provide my flight number. Unfortunately, the centurion lounge is being overcrowded and I ditched the platinum card.
