I love "Weeknighting" content so much. Your recipes are approachable and are always something I actually want to eat. I also like the foods that are more of a "project", but nothing beats good things I can make in just about 30 minutes without crazy ingredients.

I really like this kind of thing as an option. My household deals with a lot of mental health issues, so having something that is good, warm, and not overwhelming while still being a nice meal. Anything that'll combat depression, especially this time of year, is a win in my book.

I had leftover keema curry(loved it), so I thought for lunch I’d try something adventurous! Used puff pastry from freezer and turned the curry into samosas-ish ! They were so good! Also had some frozen mango chunks so made a quick chutney while the “samosas” were baking. We will definitely add the Keema curry to our regular menu rotation, and make extra for the leftovers! Yum

All I’ve made so far is the keema curry recipe but OMIGOSH it’s made my life sm easier. After I made it, the leftovers lasted me way more than 4 portions. As a poor person who has to make my own food before work and has a physically demanding, energy sucking job, I so appreciate such an easy-to-make recipe that makes me feel so good after I’ve eaten it. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I just started watching your videos last week and love them! Tonight I tried one of your recipes for the first time...the Italian Wedding Soup/Minestrone soup. DELICIOUS! I made a few tweaks but it was sooooo good! Instead of sausage meatballs, I made my standard meatball mix except that I made them with sausage and ground beef. And I doubled the amount because I don't like beans. And instead of kale I used spinach (which I added at the end). Definitely keeping this one on hand! Can't wait to try the stir fry recipe later this week!

I make soups like that last one pretty often, some pasta, beans, and usually whatever leftover meats and veg I have around. I love the little sausage meatball idea though. My personal favourite for these kinds of soups is a nice wedge of lemon, and some finely crushed/minced garlic to add right before serving, brightens and wakes everything up really nicely!

Finally a video about healthy cooking that actually is somewhat healthy. You could say it's a bit too meat heavy and too low on legumes (2 dishes with meat and only one with legumes, I would say the other way around would be way better), but the overall amount of vegetables is good at least. This is actually healthy, not just high protein. Yes, Ethan Chlebowski, I'm looking at you!

Would you ever be interested in making a video about how you maintain your kitchen space? Like how do you keep it clean, procedure you go through to keep it clean, how do you keep it organized etc. I think it'd go along well with the budget videos you are making since some of us, admittedly, aren't so good at organization and budget management.

These all look great and I will try them. The first reminds me of something my mom would make the four of us when my dad was off on sales trips: ground beef browned with cubes of potatoes. I think all she added was salt and pepper; she told me some years later with a laugh that it was a Depression dish that her grandmother had made her back in the 1930s. We scarfed it up eagerly; but then again, I used to scarf up Spaghettios and Kraft Italian Dinners when I was in high school. Your stuff is far superior and easy to make! The soup in particular is a fun and interesting idea.

Love this video. For me, most of these costs would be increased anywhere from 150-200%, but the principle is the same. I just spent sixty-five bucks on groceries for on week/one person today - most of that was produce, since I have all my pantry staples locked and loaded at home. It's rough out here. I'll take any ideas I can get, and your recipes have been a huge inspiration!

Here in Central Europe the prices would be all mixed up, but still nice recipes. I used a small bottle of oyster sauce, which is around 2 USD just for one ingredient. I know that it's the "pantry stuff that doesn't count" but it's not negligible. Peppers on the other hand cost a couple dozen cents each

Great content as usual. ❤ One of the things I've noticed on so many videos about eating healthy and cheap - lots of sodium. Which isn't healthy for anyone. When young, you don't notice but the older you get the more salt messes with you. I've always tried to under salt everything and found that vinegar and citrus really helps balance low sodium meals. I don't even need to watch my salt intake at all, but if trying to eat healthier and the daily suggestion is less than a teaspoon a day then it's best that your meal prep isn't super salty. You're going to always get more sodium intake in a day by just drinking water even. So id love to see healthy meals that don't have SPOS all over it.
