Artists that are "important" for music history are those who influenses others to play alike. Björk is so freakin great that noone even bothers trying to play and write like her. Björk 4 ever

No. You're not alone. I was lucky enough to be in the second row at the Civic Opera House in Chicago on this tour. I wept like a small child. When I looked around, nearly everyone else was in tears as well. A truly amazing experience.

I loved the part where she says and he pulls her apart long, long legged on top of the family tree. The way she raises her voice make my eyes water. Such a beautiful song with all the strings.

Bjork always strikes a deep cord within me when I'm listening to this song with headphones or surround sound...it just moves throughout the body like blood...almost uprooting for a mere second with how it arrests my attention, but very natural, moving, inspiring, and transforming nonetheless. Wish I could have been there to hear it live...I would have had the most awesome fleeting thoughts...

From what I've heard of Bjork's live performances, she seems to sing whatever comes to mind at the moment. She doesn't always, or even often, sing the "official" lyrics.

@@marksieving7925 Imagine making one of the greatest albums of all time and not bothering to remember the lyrics... Can't relate since I know them by heart haha
@marksieving7925
@marksieving7925 4 жыл бұрын
@@mihaelrajh4249 I doubt very much that it's a matter of "not bothering to remember the lyrics." It's more a matter of feeling free to change the lyrics when she pleases. It's her song, she can do what she wants with it. And I think she regards her songs as living entities, not static monuments.
