If you need aluminum in a hurry, the Corvega Plant is filled with it. Just "tag" aluminum at a workbench then head to Corvega. The enemies there are about level 10 so you can just about ignore them, or kill them with harsh language. Loot anything tagged and come home with about 100 aluminum, mostly on Coolant Caps and random Aluminum Cans all over the place.

This is really late but you have to get kicked out of the institute to progress the minutemen. The only way to get the three remaining factions is if the institute goes. You get the Defend the Castle quest from Preston after that.

You left a unique mod for the X-02 in the wall safe back in the Boston Police Rationing Site, which is the RR symbol South of Diamond City. When you use AP in power armor you drain the fusion core faster.

I'm level 46 and I haven't done any quests with any faction yet . I'm just enjoying unlocking every area and doing side quests and miscellaneous quests .

The Cambridge Polymer Lab is the absolute worst quest for Brian. It involves reading, searching, navigating a 3-D maze, more reading, solving a puzzle, and generally figuring stuff out. Prediction at the moment he enters: Brian will ask for much back-seating from chat. Edit: Or he'll just throw the first two things in, get it wrong, kill Molly, and be done with it.

If you want your power armor to look good, Atom Cats is in the vanilla game - I'm sure chat can tell you how to find it. They have a cool paint job you can get. Or go to Far Harbor (you don't have to do the whole DLC). Find the VIM Plant and you can learn a paint job in the terminal next to the fancy red power armor you will find. Or find Hot Rodder magazine #1 which gives a nice looking red paint job with black flames. It's in the Robot Disposal Ground which is almost due north of Concord all the way to the edge of the map.

I believe P.A.M. Is in Security Lockdown Mode because you started the Brotherhood quest "Tactical Thinking" after you did the Paladin Danse/Synth quest. Specifically at 2:11:54 in the previous video. Now you either need to get on with it and kill the railroad... OR Make the Brotherhood of Steel get hostile to you so the quest instantly fails and then the Railroad won't be afraid of you anymore.

Random question, but does the Radio Freedom music get you copyright claims? I'm thinking of making the castle my base for my own let's play, but worry about copyright issues.

4:08:45 "Castle's going to be easy to defend. I got that place defended pretty good." No. Not really. 300-400 defense is pretty good for this fight. Also, many turrets INSIDE instead of only facing outward - the Institute can teleport enemies inside those defenses. Then again, you have all your unkillable companions there, so that helps. They can even target enemies you can't. NPC cheat... And of course your indestructible X-02 armor. You and your companions will defend the Castle more than your turrets.

I totally understand somebody saying "pineapple on pizza tastes bad to me. I don't like it." I don't understand anybody saying "pineapple does not belong on pizza. It's wrong." It's like they're taking a moral stand on pineapple pizza. I mean, the top three evil things in the world are: 1. Torture. 2. Pineapple on pizza. 3. S.A. Like, what? There is nothing "wrong" with putting pineapple on pizza. It's not immoral or evil or somehow defies the laws of society or something. it's a choice. Don't eat it if you don't like it. But to die on THAT hill? That's the line to draw in sand and die for" For the "it's just wrong" argument? For that? I'll never understand that.

The CIT building to find Father on the roof. You confused yourself. The mission marker told you to go inside. Once inside there are TWO staircases up. You only found one, the wrong one, and then asked your chat. You got about a dozen wrong answers from chat. Also, having multiple active quests had you, sometimes, chasing the wrong quest marker. All you have to do is: 1. Go into the building. 2. Find stairs up - if it's the right staircase it takes you to the roof. 3. If not, find the other staircases. There is one at each end of the ground floor. 35:50 "They could have made it less confusing." 1. It is less confusing. You confused yourself, and got even more confused with bad chat advice. 2. Play the game! The stairs aren't even hidden. 3. If this kind of thing annoys you, take the "VANS" perk and when you can't find the path, that perk will make a glowing line for you to follow.

Technically, your X-02 power armor is a mod. It was a player-made mod in the Creation Club for years. Bethesda's latest patch took some of those mods and added them to the game. So, it is a both a mod and, now, official content. Side note: it has also made this playthrough kinda boring. That is some seriously OP armor meant for the endgame. You can't even get Mk1 X-01 armor until level 28 and then the pieces are random spawns. You got a full suit of much stronger Mk IV X-02 power armor just dropped into your lap at level 30. Nothing has ever hurt you when you wear it - it's almost god mode level of invincibility. Watching you wear that armor is like watching you play Call of Duty offline with actual "god mode" enabled. It's about that much fun - if you can't die, if there's no risk, it stops being a game and becomes a walking sim where you hammer-smash an enemy once in a while. Not your fault. The game put it there. I'm glad, at least, that you don't wear it all the time.

The single most obvious thing that Brian never does in these games is be a leader. No settlement building, no management, nothing. He's as much of a leader as James Bond or Jason Bourne. Badass, yes. Leader, not at all. So it's funny to hear Shaun say "I believe my father has already proven himself more than capable [as a leader]." I guess the developers didn't plan on Brian...

I got tired of playing the same games over and over again this fallout 4 waiting for a new fallout game. They’re saying 2030 till the next one gets released and that’s way to long. Same with elder scrolls. Getting tired of Bethesda games because of of time between releases.

@@BrianMenard I wonder where they went? I got that 120 hour figure from adding up all the hours on your videos in the Fallout 4 playlist. Did you do Fallout 4 twice? Or did you just leave the game running overnight or offstream? I do that all the time so my hours according to Steam are often double, or more, than my actual playtime.
