DRUGSTORE FALL MAKEUP TUTORIAL - Colorful + Smokey!

Ive had a few confused comment so I’m just gonna put this here: I don’t care where a product is from. If it sucks then I will tell you lol both the Elf palette and Vault did not work for me in this video. As you can see in the video they both gave me lots of issues. There are other drugstore eyeshadows that work just fine, but these colors and what I chose to work with on this day did not. Like I explained at the end I wished I saved this look for another palette that I knew would work. I in no way said that the elf palette was worse than the vault lol Don’t look further into it than it is. (P.S. everything on my face & lips are gonna be new go-to’s-I love them!)

I love that you kept all the footage in and were honest about the products. There are tons of good drugstore products but my biggest issue with them is lack of consistency, even within the same palette. 😩 The Elixir is my fave drugstore foundation and what I currently use, but they need more shades. I'm very pale and need a cool undertone. Love the final look! 💖

Try the CYO lifeproof if u can find your shade. which is prob 101 if u are pale. Gives good coverage without looking like a mask. They don't have the best shade range but, I found my exact shade match which is rare. I still need to try the Vitalist elixir.

Yessss Makeup Geek to the rescue! When i meet people and tell them im a makeup artist they automatically think i own hundreds and hundreds of products, specifically eye shadow palletes. And when i tell them i only own makeup geek shadows their shocked. But ive never had an issue with any of them, they perform beautifully so i dont really need anything else.

Bronzer brushes are my fave brushes to buy and I own all types of bronzer brushes from drug store to high end. I love the real techniques bronzer brush. It’s so soft and fluffy but sets bronzer down beautifully! Even though I have expensive ass bronzer brushes I still find myself constantly reaching for the real techniques brush. Love it 😍 and your look!!

This was a really interesting video to watch. I appreciate your honesty and how you show that some of the looks we see from the KZbin makeup community don't always come together as easily as we think they do. I think that the end look you achieved was super pretty but I can see how the two eyeshadow palettes were just not working for you on the day. Thank you for sharing. In terms of what I'd love to see in the future on your channel, tutorials/opinions of either of the two new Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes (the Naked Cherry or the Elements one) would be amazing!

I mix covergirl healthy elixir foundation with a lot of different foundations. I love it on its own but it's a fantastic mixing foundation. One if my holy grail foundations. I don't normally care for super dewy foundations but that one isn't to dewy and the lasting power is so great

As bad as I feel at how bad a time you had with this look, I love love love that you left all that in. It really showed how you can overcome issues you encounter with eye looks.
