I had to stop and check to make sure I hadn't driven back to Alabama in some sort of coma! Found the same phenomenon in Vermont. @Tim Mill Oh bless your heart! It has nothing to do with being "woke" chuckles, however desperately you need it to be. It's just a plain scientific fact. If you run around displaying the battle flag of the Army of Northern Va for any reason other than to decorate the grave(s) of your kin who actually fought in it then you're a bubble headed moron not smart enough to research the actual Confederate flag. And yes, "Confedrate flag" decals/tshirts/bikinis/etc/etc are a blaring symbol of idiocy worldwide.

Gosh, can't believe we all care so much about a flag for a failed government. They didn't die in the end so I guess their flag would be... white in surrender? And since the north didn't exterminate half the population, maaaaaybe take a hint from your ancestors and let live.

However much of Upstate NY is almost similar to the Midwest i.e Indiana, etc. There are exceptions though such as Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany though. Thus why there a political divide in NYS Government between the Democratic Machine of NYC and more "moderate Republicans" in places such as I assume the Hudson River Valley. He's 74 years old. He's seen everything. And I don't believe his plan was that his cast would try to get laughs by breaking character constantly (ala Carol Burnett). But that's apparently what makes kids laugh these days.

Aaron Stigall - Seeing people laugh makes other people laugh? Who’d have thought? Clearly this is some stupid new trend and not part of human nature or anything. Thanks for shedding light on this phenomenon. From this day forward, if someone breaks character in a comedy sketch, I will sit here stone-faced and call anyone who laughs an ignoramus. P.S. Carol Burnett is a legend, and her show was successful for a reason .

This is one of the funniest sketches I've seen in a long time. Hit after hit, joke after joke, had me legitimately laughing out loud. I'm gonna venture a guess, and say the dislikes were from the families of those who fell off the hayride, and didn't "fight like hell", never to be seen again. Now, I don't usually quote lines from the script, but that "He's like Eeyore, but with a plan" joke, was too damn good not to acknowledge. I truly hope this becomes a recurring skit.
