We were listening to Jesse in the car last week, this song and then Another Last Chance played, and I looked back to my 9 year old daughter to ask what she thought and she just had tears streaming down her face. She said she didn't quite understand everything he was saying but his voice just made her feel like crying. And then she asked if I thought he was happier now that people are listening to his music, and I just told her that I hoped so. I haven't told her that he passed away yet. wherever you are, Jesse, I do hope that you are happier now! Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us

Wow this comment actually made me cry for the first time in fucking many years! Thankyou I really needed that, you don't know how much! Got a phone call that my grandad who I am very close with has been rushed into hospital earlier today it's now 7am and I haven't slept since yesterday morning. Having autism I find it very hard to get emotional and cry. And I felt selfish for not crying for my grandad who I was told wouldn't make it through the night. I'm going to get the bus to the hospital to see him if he is still alive, in a couple of hours. And this comment made me emotional and like a flood gate it all came rushing in, my mum's cancer, my grandad probably dying today, me being a drug addict that lives apart from my young daughter (although I still see her a few days a week) just everything, and for some reason your comment lit the spark. So thankyou! ❤

I come from this scene but I ran the streets in the 80's and 90's. A few months from 50 and I'll say the same things I told my dear friends back then. Stay away from hard dope. I've lost more people than not. I used to say 50% of my crew from those times are dead. It's an underestimate. Those that didn't OD are now dealing with long term alcohol abuse. Liver, kidneys and lungs are also wrecked from tobacco, clove cigarettes and binge drinking. Giving in to nihilism is how they win.. You can't make an impact if you are 6 feet under. Seeing this really makes me miss my friends... If you are dealing with addiction do whatever it takes to save yourself. Kratom is fantastic for opiate addiction. I kicked a really bad oxy habit without wd symptoms. Weed is great for anxiety. Mushrooms for ptsd. Substitute the bad shit... The world needs more people like you... .

Right? I haven't gone more than two months without losing someone close to me since 2020.. It's giving me a serious complex. Hold tightly, the people you care about, and never part ways on a bad note.. because you never know if that's gonna be the last time you ever see them. You don't want the last words you ever said to that person to be said in anger. Life is fleeting, fragile and can be taken in an instant. But that makes it precious.

Just heard of Jesse's passing, words never really fully let us grasp. Everyone needs and deserves love, especially with those who have the ability to touch so many people. I hope his life and death can lead people into a better place, learning how to keep our intentions in a way that encourages the behavior of those we are connected to. Cuz, in the end, there's noone to blame, and we are all almost strangers to each other. Jesse truly inspired people with his ability to express himself through music. I guess its just a reminder that we are all human, and what it's like on these beaten down paths we are destined to follow, we try to share the peices that split us from following those worn out paths, and use intentions to think what it would be like if the other people in life were actually you. Even if it just seems cheesy as fuck. But... his life, now in the past, his music here to reflect on as long as we need, using the connections we make to break these fucking sirens call cycles when we all know we would be better off there. Be a sirens call. Show the world you can inspire the world through your intentions, no matter how small. For some reason we all experience this world as an individual person, for some reason in time and space... for some reason. Thanks for reading. I hope the best for all of you.
