I am 72. My husband is 75. We drove our basic Sonata for 15 years, so when we drove off with this 2025 Camry Hybrid LE thinking it was the somewhat improved "basic" type car we were used to driving, we were in for a big shock. We felt like airplane passengers who had been invited into the cockpit to fly the plane! The salesperson sent us off with patient, excellent basic preparation. We read the quick guide and looked things up in the manual that came with the car, and which we are very HAPPY to have, but when my husband finally located Mr. Ruperti's KZbin tutorials, everything went so much more quickly and simply. These tutorials were a godsend for us. Now driving our new car is the pleasure it was supposed to be. Thank you, Mr. Ruperti!

This guy is great. Extremely helpful. Everything you'd hoped the dealer would have helped you with... but was too busy. I'm amazed that Toyota doesn't do this -- but Brian does!

Thank you for this very comprehensive and detailed explanation for the digital cluster on the LE. I own this model, and I love how this vehicle works. I understand what you were saying about how having the energy flow monitor on the infotainment screen can be distracting, but still there's a lot of us that like to know how the hybrid system works while we have other gauges and information displayed on the digital cluster. Do you think they can bring this back with an OTA update? Anyway, thanks again for this amazing video!

Great job on this video and learned quite a bit more about my 2025 TCH-LE. Of note: I have the convenience package, which adds the auto darkening inside rear-view mirror and a power driver's seat. Of note: The passenger side also has both manual seat height and back angle adjustments, which except for right-hand placement work as shown for the driver side in this video.

Cool video. I'm waiting for someone to get one out on the road, and really put it through the ringer. I have driven my 25 SE on a variety of roads including mountain and canyon's. I think it does quite well. I would still like to see it perform in a pros hand's. Then hear his/ her take.

The video is great. All im missing is how to change from Android Auto back to the regular screen. Also how to use Android Auto for maps and the radio if you dont want to use Pandora.
@marketteareed7935Ай бұрын
Also, thank you for the video tutorial.
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
Thank you! To get to regular screen you’d tap the Toyota app in your apps section For maps you’d simply select the map app you want to use For radio you’d go back to Toyota interface and select music/audio to listen to radio I hope that helps! Also be sure to check out your quick reference guide which makes the process a little easier as well

With the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 on my new 2024 Cross does the video from the front facing sensors camera act as a dash cam that would be available to use as proof in an accident or do I still need to add a Dash cam

Dash cam

Nice review Brian…I just subscribed. Can you elaborate on the remote start function on the 2025 Camry? Is it free, free for so many years etc. Thanks!
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
Thanks! Remote start comes on the Toyota app and it’s 1 year free for most cars and then paid monthly

Thank you for explaining that the adaptive cruise control can be switched to regular cruise control! This is hard info to find. If I have the adaptive CC turned off, when the car is turned off and restarted will it retain the off setting, or does it reset to the adaptive cc on?
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
My pleasure. It should retain the setting.
@andreaherrera4454Ай бұрын
sometimes when driving the steering wheel will move away on its own if that makes sense is there a way/button to remove that?
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
Yes you have to turn off the lane departure alert. Please see that section in your owners manual so you can understand the feature in more depth
@clifflancaster4693Ай бұрын
Is it possible to display a traditional speedometer? Or do you only get the speed as a digital number?
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
The options would be in meter settings. I believe this doesn’t have a dual gauge speedo on the LE.

I don't know why Toyota keeps doing the little slide-out panel on the sun visor instead of a real telescoping visor like most other makes. It looks cheap and doesn't work as well as the entire width of the visor being able to slide/telescope.
@jgriffin411Ай бұрын
100% agree!! Cheap & outdated.
@nkyryry2 ай бұрын
I actually think the interior looks cheaper than the last gen. Especially the steering wheel. The flat matte emblem looks way cheaper. I know it’s redesigned. But it actually looks worse.

@jxmar_2 ай бұрын
It doesn’t. It’s just your perspective. No one is saying this. Everyone that had a 2018-2024 model and switched over to the 2025 is saying that it feels much better out together and higher quality than the previous model

I just bought the 25 LE and as a defensive driving instructor I can tell you that most of the safety sense stuff is unnecessary or dangerous. I put tape over my blind spot detectors on the mirrors. My mirrors are adjusted properly to see my blindspot I don't need a distracting light constantly coming on when a vehicle comes up from behind me. If you turn off the blind spot detector - it will come back on when you start the car. The default is always on. Learn to drive properly and defensively and you should need all this goofy tech.
