@@michaelblankenau6598I mean, it only relates bc Trump, knowing that there were multiple criminal investigations into him, decided to run for president. Trump paid the hush money to keep the story hidden to keep it from coming out before the 2016 election. Listening to the evidence, Trump is obviously guilty. IDK if anyone else thinks this but the more I think about it the more it seems like the Defense Attorney's comment that got him in trouble with the Judge was a last-ditch effort to force a mistrial.
@emilyspector27286 ай бұрын
And oooohhh yeah it did! They pissed that judged off after that stunt pulled by the defense.

Judge Merchan knew that was coming. Trump always pulls the same crap over & over again. He has become quite predictable. Next move whining! Large CAPS ON THE KEYBOARD.

How would that work? Surely the defence can't force the court's hand by simply saying outrageous things... or they'd just do that every time

I sincerely hope Judge Merchan refers Blanche to the bar and he loses his license. And I also hope the jury members are all reasonable - only someone who is unreasonable could still have doubt.

@@stephaniemercer9321Even if Trump is 100% innocent the legal conduct of his defence team has been disgraceful and embarrassing. Did you even watch the video? It's got nothing to do with anyone's opinion of Trump that Todd Blanche broke conduct by suggesting to the jury that they consider the punishment; we don't have the exact quote but depending on his wording that could be interpreted as a threat or else intimidation, but at the very least that suggestion even without intimidation could potentially tamper with the jury's perception enough to get the whole case declared a mistrial. I'd call for sanctions and consequences if it was Biden on trial, or Obama or anybody. This has nothing to do with Trump. It's to do with the sanctity and reliability of court process and the jury.
