If she even tries to use the immunity case to delay, Jack will take it to the circuit court and they will put her in her place. The documents case happened after he was no longer president. He was just a citizen. It has nothing to do with immunity as president. This immunity hearing by the Supreme Court only applies to the DC case and Georgia case. Those are both about what he did WHILE president. That’s why the judge or trump can’t delay the Manhattan case. It happened before he was president. That case is set to start March 25th

I think they are saying Aug 12 because the SCOTUS will do oral arguments for the Immunity claim April 22. Then, they’ll finish and make a decision in May. The DC trial has to wait 3 months after that ruling to go to trial. What’s 3 months from May? (June, July, August)… so they are proposing this date to block off the calendar… then, when it gets close, they’ll do something to delay it and Cannon will grant the delay. Just using this as a placeholder so the DC case can’t go in August.

Wade ruling and because of many anti-human legislation because of the destructive rhetoric of Republicans, and there is no way to get those people back. My wish is that people who want to vote Republican ask themselves what the cost of that is, has been, and will be, and take the advice to always vote against that, even if that means feeling uncomfortable with progress and being afraid that it might cost jobs or increase housing prices, or mean that a hundred million dollars is spent on refugees to make their lives easier. They will continue to roll back rights every chance they get with pre planned cases coming before them to rule on. I think they are trying to pad the calendar for when they lose in the supreme court. The Florida case is unaffected by his so called official acts as president, so offering it up now means they can use it to complain later, "I'm really busy in July and August and probably September as well i just won't be able to make it to my other three court cases into late October... Maybe."

I can think of a couple of reasons the T team would propose an August date, but ultimately it comes down to this: If they can just get to mid-August without a trial starting, they only need one more delay to stall a verdict until after the election. I say if the SCOTUS does not support the fact Trump has any immunity in these cases, then Biden should send Seal Team 6 after the SCOTUS;-) I mean if immunity is good enough for Trump it's good enough for any other President, right? With the Supreme Court taking up the immunity claim, and only hearing arguments at the end of April, a July/August date for the Florida case means there probably won't be any time for one of the other criminal cases to happen *either* between the immunity ruling and Florida case *or* between the Florida case and the election. I could see that being the strategy - if they don't think they can delay every case until after the election, make sure that the one that happens before it is the one with Judge Cannon.

In my humble opinion the Scotus has lost all credibility with the decision to hear Trump's immunity claim. This combined with Roe vs Wade provokes me to say that I will never feel the same respect and deference for the justices that I have felt in the past and believe that this institution is nothing more than a group of partisan politicians whose souls belong to Donald Trump.
