I loved this bike ...in your opinion would you recommend the ridstar Q20 or the tamobyke?

If you live where it is hilly and can ride ebikes with motor above 750W without issue get the Ridstar Q20 with 20Ah battery as its motor is torquer and strongwr then Tamobyke. If you live in in relatively flat area and need to be class 3 compliant buy the V30

​@@BRichSolution Would like to see a comparison test between the two as the V30 is basically a clone of the Goat V30, and Gforce Zm, and Movcan V30 and probably a few others. Seems like Ridstar Q20 is still the gold standard, but those funky handlebars are ugly and apparently theyve been swapping in cheaper parts than the original? I think the Q20 is much lighter than most. esp. the Q20 lite. Seen some specs say 66lbs vs 90lbs can be a big difference!

Thanks for the great video. One issue I noticed with mine is a clicking noise whenever I apply weight to the seat or sit down on it. Any idea what that could be, or has it happened to you? I think the sound is coming from the spring.

Should i buy a ouxi v8 3.0 with 2 batteries for 900 or a v30 with 2 batteries for 850. I think im gonna choose the v8 but im not sure. V30 does have a spring and v8 doesnt.

V30 has rear suspension but its heavier and long bike so you have concerns about weight or storage space go with v8

I have a V30 MAX and I’m already planning on upgrading the cassette and the tires, someday an aftermarket fork. Find the right local shop that can help out on new products, installs and at least extra expendable parts.

@BRichSolution after reviewing, they actually do look Abit different. Ar first I didn't notice it since many folks use the the names mixed together. Tomabyoe and movcan are 2 different brands. The dually battery setup is differentz the frame looks to about the same though and all other components as well as with most ebike.

Yes the stock brakes have motor kill switch sensors in the levers. Try reconnecting the sensor to main harness to see if motor works

You can easily replace them as both batteries are standard size and can buy from multiples vendors on Amazon or Aliexpress. The old batteries get recycled

What do you do when your smoke detector batteries go out? Do you live with Getto crickets or change the batteries? He could throw the batteries that came with it away and get 52 volts for an upgrade.

I guess they upgraded all their motors. I dont see the 750w in their store anywhere. Locslly where i live they also still sell the 750. But because of import, peice is relatively still high. Id rather import it myself and get the better motor

31mph is about as fast as 48V will go even $5000 super 73 only goes 32 mph. If you change the controller to higher amp you might have to rewire the bike. You could try 52V battery with stock controller might get you to 33mph. You can’t get much faster with 48V battery

Shipping fees should be standardized for these ebikes that weigh basically the same. Free or $100! I seen companies play games with that so the buyers is screwed if theres issues and costs them a lot to ship back, so they dont. I think the ridstar q20 pro might be slightly faster as it had dual 52V batteries. The v30 max speed is 28 mph per gps, the screen on the bike says 30 mph

Movcan v30 promax is a good deal on same at Amazon right now see link amzn.to/3AshqRe I doubt a 48V battery can make it go 37mph its probably more like 32-35mph. You really need 52V to get above 35mph. Also dual motor and dual battery will make the bike heavy I’d estimate weight to be 110-115lbs!
