Nice basement cleanup and demolition! Now you get more square footage to finish out the basement, and repaired that driveway too! Good demonstration to repurpose materials. Those Areas with natural rock, this demonstrates how to convert large rock scapes into manageable landscapes and create features to increase your property values. I’m in the high plains and rock is so expensive to purchase as it is railed in from the Rockies and the Ozark’s.

I'm a bricklayer...We have lots of waste at the end of jobs. Mostly gets thrown into dumpsters. Wow this is an idea for the industry. Gravel is always needed on the very jobs that put it into dumpsters. Hey thou wtf happened to the Gold videos on or about your Claims? These Gold videos are getting very Popular? Moar gold Plz!

i was thinking the same thing, more often than not, than half the bricks I tear down are going to the landfill, this could be a good way to recuperate and earn some extra cash by selling bricks and blocks in gravel form. IDK if you are like me, but every time I go to the dump to empty out the truck and see the mountain of bricks and blocks and the huge scrap woodpile next to it, I always think there should be a way to recycle it into something else.

So far, I have seen Dan Hurd, Jeff Williams, the boys from Gold Rush White Water and now you use the micro-blaster setup in all sorts of situations. The Gold Rush boys are blasting boulders under water even. That's a solid piece of kit and I don't think it requires permitting to use. I'll bet a couple of moving blankets would have dampened the pop even more.

Did they ever put asbestos in concrete ? I live near a HUGE old asbestos mine and they used it ,For a lot of things...just a possible alert
@donniebrown2896
@donniebrown2896 3 жыл бұрын
I've never heard of asbestos being used in a product that is already fire proof. That was the primary thing asbestos was used for, was claimed to be fire proof. Even "fire brick" , the ones used inside the fire boxes didn't use asbestos, they used a type of clay that resisted high temperatures but they can and do eventually crack and fail. Those can be bought individually for home furnaces in melting metals, not cheap.

i would love to have a screen classifier that was powered electrically, and i could just switch out the screen sizes and have a conveyer belt i coudl move to maybe three or four different positions so the material that went through coudl be sent into their own respective piles... but, probably couldn't afford it. but, it woudl be nice if i could sort my stone by size other than by hand haha. im building slate stone walls (with concrete) around my property, and my bulk material pile i am sorting into three different cuts. so, stones that are so large i can barely move them without my tractor go in oen pile, and they are maybe between 1x2x.5 feet, to 3x3x1 feet dimensions. and then i have an 8x11 inch crate that my granite surface plate came in, that i use to sort anything thats small enough to fit in it into one pile, and anything larger goes in another, other than the "mega-slabs" as i like to call them lol. but, i also have a huge amount of just dirt and less than 2 inch square bits that got mixed in that im sifting out by hand... its a lot of work, but i need Something i can screen thats tuff through to recover useable pieces (for filling smaller gaps in the walls later, or as i build) and to recover any usable dirt or gravels for road fill, and such. i woudl love to get or even make my own grizzly bar set, but have no idea where to start! though, i think i could get away with using 3/4 rebar and set them 1 inch apart in a grid in 3x3 timber frame with slots to secure them... but, im no engineer lol

@@joeschlotthauer840 I feel ya, that could be a cool look. But, unfortunately because our aggregates settle down below the surface during the finishing process, very little if any at all large rock material remains at the top where it can be seen. I think you could get the look you are looking for by doing “exposed aggregate concrete” using your material of choice and then top coating it with a clear UV stable epoxy. I’ve seen that done on porches and carried into the entranceway and it looked spectacular.
