What do you mean "not related to foundation movement". It is exactly related to it. House was built on a slab that moves with seasons and the weather conditions. I'm sure they will blame the homeowner for not maintaining perfect moisture under the slab.

As stated in the video. The brick is not properly supported above the roof line. That is the cause of the separation.
