I don't know if my beads are too round, but I am having so much trouble learning this! I do find your explanation & close up filming the best of all the ones I've watched though.

How many millimetres is the string? And how to you know how many millimetres you need with each bead and project?
@thecornerofcraft
@thecornerofcraft 3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Honestly, I never measure it. You want the length to be a comfortable length for you to work with. If you need to attach more, weave through your beadwork and just pick up from where you left off! x

Lovely Video, very clear. I have a question about tension. I have been creating earrings with about 18-20 beads across the widest row. They come out lovely, but I notice after I have been wearing them they tend to bend inward - kind "cup". I use strong tension and 10lb fireline and they will still "cup" - any suggestions? or is that just what wide brick stitch is going to do - thanks so much!
@thecornerofcraft
@thecornerofcraft 8 жыл бұрын
+Malcolm Fisher This isn't something I have expertise in, but I imagine the pressure of how the earrings hang may cause the piece to bow slightly x

hello again, sorry for so many questions, but would it be possible with this stitch to make a tubular bead? thanks so much. sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
@thecornerofcraft
@thecornerofcraft 8 жыл бұрын
+Becky B Peyote would be better suited due to its flexibility and how well it can "zip" together, giving a seamless appearance. Unless you want to do tubular brick stitch :) x
