I tried feeling minifigure bags and we got 11/13 unique ones and then 7/7 that we guessed correctly for Harry Potter. Some of these are so hard though.

There are dots on the bottom of each package corresponding to each mini fig. You can find videos and pictures of these dots as well.

X-ray vision would be really awesome for blind bags. But as time goes by your feeling skills will improve rapidly! This is a great series to start with as most minifingers are very special.

Good job so far and don’t worry. It’s an acquired skill to feel the packs right. But if you’re acquainted with some regular pieces it becomes process of elimination in your head to find out what’s inside before they’re opened.

Here’s a little simple tip, if the bag is bulging then it’s most likely a suit person(doesn’t really apply to this series) I’m not good at it either.

He saw a video where guy downloaded an app that let you scan the barcode he then Google searched the barcode and it came up with which minifigure was in each package. I don't know if you can still do that on newer series but it would be interesting to try.

btw the best way to distinguish between the bags is by weight. you can buy a $6 scale on amazon that measures to a 10th of a gram
