Thanks mate, I got it done in a place in Newcastle. I cant remember the name but I’l dig it out for you. I got the coat myself from Montane, done my own art work design and they done the embroidery 🙂

Cheers Alex 🤝 We use ready mix tubs of mortar. General practice when mixing your self is 5-6 parts soft sand to 1 part cement for work above ground 🙂

Good question that mate, the majority of the time we buy them in ready mixed. We’ve got a couple tubs to pour into if we are mixing our own, but its quite rare to be honest 😃

Cheers John appreciate you dropping in again mate 🙂 there are wannaby brickys who cant build small walls and piers mate, hats of to you John 🤝 I bet you’ve had your fair share of good times as a welder though mate, thats all that counts isn’t it. Big jobs lined up, we have 2 plots of land that we will be working on, one will sit a pair of semis that’l be 4 flats and the other plot is a pair of 3 bed semis. Still a little while to go but its in the pipe line. Got a couple nice extensions coming up on youtube too. Just getting the time to edit them man John. This one has been 6 week or something, bits here and there, falling asleep at the desk haha 😆 The next video is a pointing job with lime mortar and the extensions to follow 🤩

Hey Craig, Thanks for quick and long txt yer must be busy. Glad yer getting some good jobs lined up. Re welding done x-ray work and industrial washers from 150mm thick plate down to 5mm in as confined as a space you can get sweating me bollocks off next to a furnace. It's funny how you develop an interest through youtube. quite pleased we me brick skills (could send yer some to mark outa 10). Mate wants me to build some piers on an existing wall with fencing in between. Do you build one course then level through next to next pier and through till you got all piers same height(level). @@jonmcgill533 thats one thing i cant take, working in crazy heat, it must have been crazy graft that mate 😮‍💨 I agree with picking up an interest on youtube, its a great place & great tool to learn from like. Go for it Jon, send them over on insta 😍 Building the piers, i’d build two, one either end of the wall and line in the others from them throughout the wall. Hope that makes sense mate, i’l fwd a sketch on IG if not 🙂
